Absolutely loved the show...both Elvis were spectacular in bringing the King of Rock and Roll to life for me. The band was exceptional. I don't know if I could see another show like this one because this one was phenomenal and I don't think anything else would compare! Both singers were on the money performing Elvis' songs.
The music and the performers were the best that I have seen doing an Elvis show. And the Sweet Inspirations are still great. Over all I would even go to see the show or the singers anywhere that they perform. Cody Slaughter and Shaun Klush are wonderful. My wife and I left with great memories. My wife has already let her friends know what they missed. If we could we would give the show 100 stars.
I have never attended an event at the Hippodrome before and I was coerced into this one. The setting is beautiful and the parking was easy......for $16.00. I have actually seen Elvis in person in the late 50's.......yes I am that old. This young guy, Cody, was very good. For a young man of his age to have that kind of talent was outstanding for me to witness. He is very good. The 'older' Elvis, Sean, did sound amazing as well but I was most impressed with the first half of the show with the younger, earlier, songs and performance. I would certainly consider another event at the Hippodrome and will follow the upcoming performances of the Elvis Tribute artists. I might even go to the competition when it comes up. Thank you for a great performance.
A very nice tribute show to the King. Young Elvis and Vegas Elvis did a wonderful job and really had the moves down. Songs were good and it was great to see D.J. Fontana and the Sweet Inspirations. Really enjoyed the show!
I have seen Shawn Klush many, many times before and was so glad he was in Baltimore. I am just sorry I didn't go to the 3:00pm show too. He is a wonderful performer, he's funny and like I said he is the closest thing to Elvis Presley. Cody Slaughter was also fabulous as the young Elvis. This is the first time I saw him perform and boy was he good. The next show will be in Bethesda at the Strathmore Music Center. I already got my ticket.
This show was unbelievable! My mother is a huge Elvis fan so I took her as a Mothers day gift. I enjoyed it as much as she did!
It was great show, fantastic look a like and sound a like performers fast paced and good enteraction with the audience and I do not see or understand why I have to use one and hundred fifty [150] words to take a simple review that I can state in just a few short sentences in stead of making me waste my time that I could be using to go to the bath room and do other things that I deem more urgent, but I am trying to do as you requested and use one hundred and fifty words to finish this review of a show that I liked very much and would go to see it again if it just so happens to come back to Baltimore Maryland in the future, how ever I will not waste my time attempting to write another one hundred and fifty word review like I am doing at this very moment . I believe that I should be very close to my one hundred and fifty words by now if I am not thrn I guess that I will not ne able to finish this review.
Closed my eyes and heard Elvis himself! Fun and awesome show!
I've been an Elvis fan forever and have seen other "impersonators". None of them have come close to the 2 performers in this show. At one point, I actually cried because I realized it wasn't Elvis singing "Peace in the Valley" but an impersonator. He was fabulous and I can't say enough about either of them. The first impersonation, Cody, sounded much more like Elvis than the second performer, Sean. But probably due to Cody's young age of 19 I think that's understandable. Sean is much more mature and has had more time to refine his movements. I was awestruck and really felt I was watching MY Elvis from back in the day. Both men should be commended for their performance, voices and their talent. It was great to feel that I was a teenager again!
This show was fantastic. Shawn and Cody were unforgettable as Elvis!!
This entire show was fantastic!! Shawn Klush and Cody Slaughter were wonderful!!
Please invite Heart of King back. Well planned event by producer. Recomend to all who enjoyed ELVIS when he was alive. This concert brought back memories of ELVIS concerts I attended in Baltimore. Great tribute to ELVIS.
Very entertaining show! Loved how the Elvis impersonators interacted with the audience.
It was an amazing show...both Cody Slaughter and Shawn Klush were as close to being the King of Rock n Roll as you can get. Cody portrays the young Elvis..taking us back into time to when Elvis first began. Shawn shows us the side of Elvis most of us remember, his years performing in his jumpsuits. Both of them gave us a timeless gift of the past. The past is something you can never get back, but they were able to make us believe that we were there, in that time..and experiencing Elvis first hand.
My husband and I, and another couple, bought tickets to this show a few months ago. We were enthused about attending, but were more excited that we were trying something new and different for us. We are in our late 40's and early 50's and not what I would call true Elvis fans, although we do like his music. From beginning to end this show was absolutely fantastic. We were mesmerized by the Elvis impersonators and were especially enthralled by the audience response to appearances by D.J. Fontana and the Sweet Inspirations. "The King" himself would have been truly honored. I would highly recommend this show to others.
If I didn't know that Elvis was not alive, I would have told you that I saw Elvis in concert. This was a fabulous show. It's amazing the talent these performers have. I would highly recommend this show to others and I can't wait until it comes back so I can see it again!
I never had the opportunity to see Elvis live but have been a die-hard fan for over 40 yrs and I can say that I actually felt like I saw Elvis in live! Heart of the King was an amazing show. Cody & Shawn put on and excellent performance. Not only did they portray Elvis' moves, personality, but their voices were out of this world. Then to have the opportunity to see them perform with DJ Fontana and the Sweet Inspiration back up singers was an awesome life experience. So much talent on one stage. My only regret is that the show was only one day! I would have bought tickets to see it again! Great job to all who put the show together and performed!
i really enjoyed the event . the performers were incredible ! the music selections perfect. i suspended disbelief and was transported back to the 1960's and 70's. i would have enjoyed a program with some information regarding the artists.
Great and Amazing show! Felt like I was really watching Elvis himself!
