Awesome fans, amazing band--why not the projection?

by Ely on 4/30/24H-E-B Center at Cedar Park - Cedar Park

Concert was so much fun! Fans were great, the live band rocked, and the setlist was so much fun! You had to arrive early to get a decent spot in line (even for VIP), but that's pretty normal for Miku shows. My only gripe was that for the 2024 North American tour, they subbed out the glass wall + projection with a LED screen. If it was advertised ahead of time that the tour would be using the LED screen instead, it would've softened the blow. But the show was advertised with the "holographic virtual idol", and nobody knew it was switched until the first show happened (Vancouver's). I have to ding it a star for the false advertising and the fact that they led fans on. I just wish that they had told attendees ahead of time.

    Overall Good

    by CC on 4/30/24

The concert itself and the live band were amazing, and the community was so amazing, I just wish it had been mentioned that it was going to be a screen instead of a hologram. It looked better in person, but it still was disappointing as there was no advertisement of that. Other than that, not many complaints!

    Needs improvement

by FireEater on 4/30/24H-E-B Center at Cedar Park - Cedar Park

The venue itself was good but the show needed work. They need to go back to the hologram not this cheap tv screen. They also need to work on the sound quality. The music was so loud that the voices were warped and screechy and at times you couldn’t hear them over the instruments. The last thing is they could have done a few more songs from the other singers.

Concert was great. Venue was bad

by Dylan on 4/30/24H-E-B Center at Cedar Park - Cedar Park

Venue was very unclear and misleading about there being two different types of VIP (one with seats one with GA). The website stated explicitly that VIP package includes a GA front row VIP ticket, it did not. There is no purpose of being let in early only for a seat. Additionally, vip area was not roped off whatsoever so even if you had paid nearly 200 dollars for a vip ticket, if you had to use the restroom you forfeit your VIP spot.

incredible, but bring back the holograms

by beans on 4/30/24H-E-B Center at Cedar Park - Cedar Park

this was my first mikuexpo, and my first vocaloid concert period. really great experience, I met a lot of cool people, the band was amazing, and overall the concert was a blast. in the future I do hope we get the holograms back, because I feel like they’re integral to the experience, and though I enjoyed myself I think it would’ve been even cooler if it wasn’t just a screen. also probably stock more lightsticks, 95ish for a location that can hold thousands of people doesn’t really work, and I was very sad I couldn’t get one.

Fun time! Wish it was more organized

by Staffing isses, Marketing issues on 4/30/24H-E-B Center at Cedar Park - Cedar Park

The view of the LED screen was really good! The show was amazing as well! The only issues I had was lack of staffing which made lines for entry almost 2 hours long and the fact that we were told it was supposed to be a hologram not a LED screen. I wish they used the whole stage with lights to make the LED screen look a little better. Overall had a fun time wish it was more organized.

    9/10

by Kase on 4/30/24H-E-B Center at Cedar Park - Cedar Park

I loved the event the setlist was really good, the band was amazing prob better than others in the past, and the effects were great. The crowd was wholesome and polite. The only thing taking it away from the 10/10 is that I was really looking forward to the iconic hologram which was not featured. It still looked great but definitely not as realistic. Would've been 10/10 with the hologram for sure. Had a blast really recommend to anyone who is on the fence about going to other events. It was much better than last time imo.

The cost for the ticket is expensive

    by Kcardenas on 4/27/24

I feel that the cost of the 270 tickets is a robbery for customers to be on the floor watching a screen and not a hologram. After a few days they lower the cost. What a disappointment because they want to see their favorite artist.

    Less than impressed

by Underwowed on 4/21/24Mullett Arena - Tempe

We were very excited for this concert. A few weeks before the concert we learned that this would not be a hologram concert as was indicated when we bought the tickets, but instead it would be a screen. We couldn't sell the tickets or do anything but go and hope for the best. The music was so loud and there was such a high pitch that we had to stuff toilet paper in our ears to make it through the concert. There was a section of dead pixels on the screen too. As for the merch, we waited in line for 5 hours and everything was nearly sold out by the time we made it. It was a zoo. Very under-wowed.
