    Haste will live on

by heartstrong on 3/1/11Altar Bar - Pittsburgh

I usually only make it to one show a year between Cornerstone festivals, so there's a lot riding on that one opportunity to get out a experience the scene; can be a crapshoot. This show at the Altar Bar in Pittsburgh was well worth the wait. There were some low points (3 local opening acts and some idiots in the pit trying to start fights), but there was a ton of fun, too. God touched me during the Chariot show (bass player stage dove from the balcony) and Haste the Day did several songs from their early days that were terrific.

Haste the Day was AMAZING!!! The Chariot and Mychildren Mybride were the perfect bands to get warmed up with before HTD came and ROCKED OUT! Unfortunately, this is the farewell tour, but if you get the chance to go to any of their shows, DO IT! It is so worth it. They are all such talented artists and great performers.

MY CHILDREN MY BRIDE WORTH THE WAIT

by ringaroundtherosy on 2/22/11Masquerade - Atlanta

this show was simply put into one word BRUTAL, first gored by deer, and a plea for purging were very good, next came the chariot, and boy were the pits, crazy when the hometown, band took the stage and had the guitarist, in the pit, while fans hardcored danced around them. then it was the band i came to see the co headliners MY CHILDREN MY BRIDE, and too me they stole the show, away from haste the day, their energy was out of this world, and made the concert much more enjoyable. i would recommend, that if you get the chance to just go for this one band well worth the 13$. then the headliners took the stage haste the day, and as well they were very good like always, just didn't seem too me, that they didn't have the energy to keep up with the crowd. but overall the show was worth every cent too see all 5 of these great bands.

The Chariot was the best part

by JadaDee on 2/22/11Masquerade - Atlanta

Okay so the lineup wasn't the best. Gored by a Deer? Come on-sorry but they were awful. Then Plea for Purging-not as awful but still no good and a SUPER long set. Gosh. Then finally we get to the best part: the Chariot. Simply amazing, every song was great. The only problem: too short! They had such a short amount of time in comparison to the others. Man, I wish they would've had more time. Oh well. MCMB was alright. "Headshot!" had to be their best song, the others were lackluster. Anddd we left before Haste played....

They changed the level from Hell to Heaven, a little more appropriate for a Christian band, maybe, lol tons of slam dancing and circle pit going on, It was loud, but well done. Way too long, but I guess we def got our $ worth 6-11pm overall great, will def go back to this venue!

    Freaking SICK

by xithielx on 2/22/11Masquerade - Atlanta

I'm sad that I only got to see HTD once, but it was well worth it. I've been following them since 2006 and their music has saved my life more than once. They put on a fantastic show.

    Incredible

by 99andInsanity on 2/20/11State Theatre - St Petersburg

I loved every band that was on this tour, so I really wanted to see this show, expecting it to be amazing. I definitely wasn't let down. A Plea For Purging not only performed well, but they were very crowd-interactive as well. The Chariot, my least favorite band on this tour, still impressed me quite a bit by their musical performance as well as their stage performance. MyChildren MyBride were unforgettable. The pits and crowdsurfing was so intense. Definitely the best performance on the tour. Haste the Day definitely went out with a bang for their farewell tour. I've seen them once before, and they've come a long way since then. This tour is definitely worth checking out.
