Hasan Minhaj is a two-time Peabody Award-Winning comedian best known for his breakout Netflix special HOMECOMING KING and his critically acclaimed, political satire show PATRIOT ACT WITH HASAN MINHAJ for Netflix which won a Peabody, an Emmy, and a Television Academy Honor. His second one-hour comedy special THE KING'S JESTER premiered on Netflix in 2022. In October 2024, Hasan released his third comedy special on Netflix, titled OFF WITH HIS HEAD. On Hasan's ongoing digital series and podcast, HASAN MINHAJ DOESN'T KNOW, he sits down with the biggest names in politics, culture, and tech with questions that are as thought provoking as they are absurd. In the debut episode, Hasan spoke with Senator Elizabeth Warren, and he's also welcomed John M. Chu, JJ Redick, Bernie Sanders, and Stacey Abrams, among many others.
He will next star in Disney's TRON: ARES that will be released theatrically in October 2025. Hasan is the co-founder and chief executive officer of 186K Films, which is currently in development on their first feature film. He is co-writing the script with Prashanth Venkataramanujam and will star in the film. Hasan was most recently seen in Sony's blockbuster film, IT ENDS WITH US as well as in NEON's comedy BABES, directed by Pamela Adlon, with Ilana Glazer and Michelle Buteau. He was a senior correspondent at Comedy Central's THE DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART and headlined the 2017 WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS' DINNER.

I drove almost 3 hours round trip for this show. Hasan is truly one of the best at his craft. The way he ties jokes together from the beginning of the show is genius. He combines stereotypes with real world current events. The jokes themselves (while some controversial lol) and the way he delivers them makes him the best in the business.
Had the best night!! SO SO good! He’s so funny, so entertaining and so smart.
Hasan never fails to deliver an outstanding show! My friends and I were all chatting about the jokes after. The comedy was smart and felt like an organic conversation with the audience. A great way to spend an evening!
I went with my wife and we both loved Hasan’s show. The only two downsides were security which took forever scanning tickets and locking up our phones and smart watches as well as the actual seat. The seat was flat and broken so it was leaning to one side which was very uncomfortable. Otherwise, awesome night. Lots of fun and laughs!
Show was great, we loved the D.J / opening act! Only gripe is that they didn't add the screens on either side of the stage, for people in the back, so we really couldn't see Hasan, his facial reactions or gestures. Screens should be automatic for all events.
I liked the show. I saw it from 12th row and the size of the venue did not bother me as much. My 19 yo son loved it! He is in a very diverse college and had to translate some of the stuff to me ✌️
I loved the show! He's totally funny! I wish the venue would've had him on the screens on the side as well so the people in the back could view properly but it probably costs them more to do so! That's my only critique. They do it concerts, why not stand up.
This performance was tasteful, energetic, personable, thought provoking and funny. My husband and I had watched each of his Netflix shows and seen him in person once before. Excited to hear he was coming to San Diego, I purchased tickets for my husband and myself, months in advance. At the last minute my husband had a business meeting to attend. My daughter went with me in his place. This was her first time seeing this entertainer and she enjoyed it immensely. She enjoyed the laughs but more importantly the “real life experience” topics. I told the hubby he missed out.! Can’t wait til he’s back in town!
The show was mislead, it was advertised as a Hassan minhaj show but he was not performing but hosting? The line up was horrible and not funny at all. Wasted a 150 dollars on nothing.
Hasan Minhaj was so funny! I love his story telling and delivery. My only complaint is that there wasn’t a screen to see him from afar so you couldn’t see the nuance in facial expressions from where I was sitting.
Two opening acts, first good, second awful. Guy was unprepared and not funny. Minhaj was very good, plenty of insightful and compelling humor. Minhaj does focus on Asian racism, which plays to his mostly Indian audience. Sometimes Indians are the only ones that get the joke. For the last 20 min the Asian racism jokes felt repetitive, and dragged out as filler. Overall it was fun.
It was an amazing show. Loved the first opening act and Hasan Minhaj. It was our first comedy show and we enjoyed every minute of it. Both of them had the audience in stitches throughout the show. It exceeded our expectations. Definitely going for another one of his shows if he comes to San Diego again.
Great show. We enjoyed ourselves. It wasn't laugh til we cry type, but great stuff and entertaining.
the show was disappointing. I have purchased a ticket to see a Hasan Minaj performance but he was only on the stage for less than 20 minutes. This event shouldn't have been called as Hasan Minaj show as everyone else except him were on stage.
This was billed as a Hasan Minhaj show, but he was mostly the host for other comics. Wanted more Hasan!!!!
The expectation was to see Hasan do a set which didn't really. The other comics except Ronnie, seemed utterly random and not really relatable to who I think Hasans audience is, including me. The saving grace was the last 15 mins of back and forth between him and Ronnie.
Super fun show. Hassan’s delivery and energy is on point. Smart, witty, & clean… well, with exception to some salty language, but topics are clean. We laughed the whole time. Loved it! In our experience, the only bad aspect of the show was one of the openers named Aristotle. He was nasty & not funny. I’m not sure why he’s even there. On that note, the other opener ( I didn’t catch his name) was funny and good.
This guy is not funny ,show started late then bragged about it. Didnt find myself laughing noticed most people were sympathetically laughing, was hoping for a better show than this left early. Nimesh Patel is way better & for the price. He makes you use a yonder bag for your phone, I get why most comedians use them I think the reason he uses them so you can't show how much he sucks.
The show overall was good. While it started 30 minutes late, and I understand there are unforeseen circumstances that can lead to it, the music played during the wait was unnecessarily loud. We felt like we were at a stadium rock concert. Both my wife and I are sensitive to loud noises and it became very uncomfortable very fast. If we knew, we would have brought hearing protection. The opening act was very funny. He was a great lead in to Hasan. Hasan was very good as well, bringing in insightful observations about family, culture, and society from an Asian perspective. This is his unique specialty. We saw Patriot Act on Netflix and The King’s Jester live and loved them because we felt like we learned something about him and his experiences that involved unfair treatment and discrimination. While I understand artists need to try new things, as he did in Off With His Head, I think the heart and empathy of those previous shows are his sweet spot.
