In the debut episode, Hasan spoke with Senator Elizabeth Warren, and he's also welcomed John M. Chu, JJ Redick, Bernie Sanders, and Stacey Abrams, among many others.
He will next star in Disney's TRON: ARES that will be released theatrically in October 2025. When my wife and I entered the theatre we were approached by a staff person that asked if we would like to sit on the stage “courtside”. This sounded like a great idea, but in reality we couldn’t hear much because the speakers were facing the audience. Great concept, bad experience
Lots of fun, many many laugh out loud moments. The whole crowd enjoyed it and laughed as much as I did so it became an unforgettable experience. Out of the box concept and it paid off. Always known their standards to be high and they delivered again.
The venue was easy to navigate, super clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. No matter where you sit it’s a good view. The show was hilarious and never got dull. I do have to be honest and say that I was not a fan of the opening act. Pricing was fair. Would definitely recommend this show.
Spoiler alert: the way they hate each other is to insult one another while pointing out the accomplishments of Indian and Asian culture. The smoke effect was overpowering, I had to give up my fifth-row seat and stand in the back.
Very interesting take from Ronnie and Hassan. The show is basically a shouting match on which community is better Asian or Indian when it got started. It felt like it did not resonate with the audience, but then it suddenly clicked and was a laughter fest for the rest of the show. I expected Hassan to dominate, but surprisingly I would say Ronnie almost stole the show. We had a blast and the time passed very quickly.
It was just not good. Parts here and there were funny but the unscripted nature and the yelling and yelling felt like I was in a boys locker room. Easy improvement - do the yelling for maybe 20 minutes then have each person do a rehearsed set on why their culture is better or why the other sucks. Video was great. Still love these comics but this wasn’t a hit for me, dog.
Hasan is the only comedian I enjoy watching (I don't find other comedians funny), and he did not disappoint. He kept the energy up and the laughs coming throughout the entire show. Side note: the first come first serve seating was a super messy and stressful - I feel like at some angles you wouldn't have been able to even see anything, and there was already a line formed when I showed up a little more than an hour early. However, 10/10 would still recommend purchasing tickets, just show up early to get good seats!
Don't get this on camera, it's illegal. Or It should be illegal how funny he can be.
hasan is not only an engaging comic but a gifted storyteller, adept at weaving together chaotic (and at times controversial) ponderings within the larger examination of human themes like intergenerational trauma, being caught in the middle generation, and of course, the cultural infighting amongst brown communities. a wonderful show that reaches people of all ages and perspectives and refreshingly sent me home from a comedy show reflecting about my own experiences and growth.
The first come first seating was a little messy. We would have preferred assigned seating. But the show was fantastic!
Enjoyed every moment and his references to south Asian parenting were very relatable. Venue was perfect for an up close and personal experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed the show. Hasan was so funny and full of energy. It was so worth it!
I don't watch much comedy. Comedians try too hard to be funny. For Hasan, his narrative seem so organic, so natural, so funny and so well delivered. I highly recommend purchasing tickets.
Love him and his jokes. It has been a while since I didnt watch him and he doesnt disappoint
This was my first time seeing Hasan Minhaj live, after years of being a fan of his comedy specials, Patriot Act, and The Daily Show. It was not disappointing. From start to finish he had me laughing and engaged in his stories. I love how he also touched on the New Yorker article that caused so much controversy for him. He did not shy away from any topic. Also I found his stories about his parents so relatable even if we are different ethnicities. Also this venue was perfect. I had avoided his NYC shows, because I just don't love going to the city as much. I was thrilled to find him doing his show in Huntington which is a 20 minute drive from my house. Also the Paramount is a nice intimate venue for shows.
I just saw Hasan Minhaj at the Huntington Paramount last night. It’s all new material and it’s going to blow your mind. This guy is off the charts.
Great show that was not only hilarious but also very pertinent to the current social climate and basic family dynamics in this day and age. Hasan Minhaj is very aware of his audience and relates to them on many different levels. I look forward to seeing his special come out in November and hope to attend more of his shows in the future!
Comedy is definitely in the eye of the beholder so this is just my take. I enjoy Hasan more on TV than as a standup. His routine was all over the place and had little flow. It was as if he drank 5 Red Bulls before the show so it looked he was shot out of a cannon. Also seemed to try to be “shocking” just for the sake of cheap laughs. I know he is trying out new material for a special later in the year and it definitely showed. We also had to lock our phones prior to the show. Wouldn’t have mattered…I wouldn’t have saved anything from this performance anyway.
Show was great, was not only funny but was a great display of story telling. We had a great time.
