If you haven't gone, you have to go!! It was truly a beautiful experience for the true Harry Potter fans! What a great event, great night! Even getting out of the parking lot wasn't too bad. It was as expected.
It was just a movie and orchestra. No special effects… just like cinema plus orchestra. I wasn’t excited..
The show started on time and the live orchestra with the movie was absolutely wonderful.
Great fun seeing Harry Potter (for the first time) accompanied by the fantastic South Florida Symphony performing John William’s epic score! The audience was made up of primarily hardcore Harry Potter fans, which added a “cult” like movie going experience! Would love to see even more of the films with live score performed with The SoFlo Symphony. My next request? The Empire Strikes back!
The orchestra was fabulous. The opportunity to have the live music added to the intensity of the movie. And the crowd was encouraged to interact, to my surprise, but that made it even more exciting. You were truly pulled into the world of HP. The event center and parking were also easily navigated.
This was such an amazing experience. Even my fiancé who isn’t a Harry Potter nerd like myself had such an amazing time. The orchestra was seriously so talented and incredible. Our seats that we purchased included valet parking, open bar & food which was so worth it! The only critiques I’d say which has to do with the Au-Rene Theater and not the show itself is that the theater was uncomfortably hot. Many people around me were sweating and fanning themselves so I could only imagine the orchestra who was dressed in jackets. Also, the screen playing the movie was so small compared to the theater and the volume of the movie could have been much louder. Besides that it was a 10/10 experience!
This was such an amazing show. I forgot there was a live orchestra from how perfect everything was. Looking forward to my next one.
The show was amazing and the symphony was very impressive. The only downside was that the concert hall was very warm which was uncomfortable given how crowded the show was. They seemed to turn the air on at some point but it barely cooled down by the end of the movie.
Listening to the orchestra perform while the Sorcerer Stone movie was playing was an absolutely fantastic experience. The audience was hilarious. Everybody participated in our favorite parts of the movie by cheering and whooping and also booing at the Slytherins and Voldemort. We got to cheer for our house. I could go to this every night.
Loved our seats and being on the end so my son could see without others in front of him was wonderful. The venue is beautiful and staff was very professional, helpful, and kind. We were happy with everything. The show itself was extraordinary! Live orchestra with our favorite movie! My son is an advanced violinist and seeing the professionals up there really gives him a confidence boost to one day perform like that. Parking was great and easy, minimal walking. Our crowd for the show was a bit over the top since it was a family friendly show that they explained in the beginning that you don't have to be quiet to show your Hogwarts pride. Unfortunately the people behind us to that to the extreme. But my son and I ignored the best we could and enjoyed our show.
Unique way to watch the movie and loved the audience participation. Superb orchestra experience. Looking forward to going to more John Williams themed concerts.
AMAZING!!! Definitely go if you have the chance. We had row FF which was right up in the front (about two rows back from the stage). Next time, I would get seats a little further back but no big deal. The live orchestra was amazing. The crowd was very engaging and fun! Would 1000% come back! Make sure to wear your Hogwarts memorabilia!
Had an amazing time! I literally forgot I was watching it live at parts. The live orchestra was, insert the best adjective here: absolutely breathtaking. Loved every second of it! Praying they do the rest of the movies!
100 points for Gryffindor! This was an amazing event. Never realized how much music was in every scene of the movie. The orchestra was phenomenal and the conductor was very entertaining. The audience participation made it so much fun! We plan on going to the next Harry Potter movie in concert- which is supposedly coming soon!
The music was beautiful. It was truly spectacular. I’ve seen the movie many times so I didn’t really watch it. I played on my phone and just listened.
It was a phenomenal performance on Saturday afternoon! To say that watching an iconic movie from my kids' childhood with a live orchestra was so enjoyable and brought so much more to the movie is an understatement. Well done!!
The symphony was so good it was hard to tell the music was live and not already recorded. Can’t wait for the next one!

This was epically AMAZING. Honestly I enjoyed it so much that you forget the music is being played Live an not coming from the movie screen. I want to go to every Harry Potter Concert they do.
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this concert. I took my niece because we both love Harry Potter and she’s in her school orchestra. What a perfect combination! She loved watching the orchestra play. She was so excited watching how individuals on strings held their bow. We marveled how we got lost in the movie and forgot there was a whole orchestra playing - they were that good!! The credits were well worth staying for. The conductor was so into it, even jumping at times when the music was getting intense - which made the them that much more fun to watch! Highly highly highly recommend!
