    Fun time in Milwaukee!

by JJinSC on 9/15/13Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest Grounds) - Milwaukee

Milwaukee really laid out the red carpet for our visit. We were very impressed with the friendliness of the people we met. Great bands and artists throughout the festival every day. Wish we could have seen more of them - just ran out of time! ZZ Top was great and we enjoyed seeing a bit of Halestorm as well. In general, need better signs and directions. The smart phone app was appreciated, but the maps part of that needs a LOT of help to be useful.

    110th needs some improvement

by BambiHD on 9/14/13Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest Grounds) - Milwaukee

Some music events we good however, there was no big act available unless you wanted to dole out more money. Harley use to have a main stage act available to all who attending. Having to pay for parking after paying a lot for the ticket was bad. Then if you wanted to leave and come back you would have to pay again. Parked bikes too close together. Parking for bikes needs to be part of the venue costs down at summerfest. Need other bands at other stages. I know the Harley stage is yours however, should have used other stages too for bands. Had more fun attending the outside events then at summerfest. Not enough going on to keep people downtown at summerfest grounds. Outside vendors did well at the other areas throughout the city.

    HD 110

by wcf187 on 9/14/13Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest Grounds) - Milwaukee

This is the best value in a biker event and music festival you will find. The only issue this year over past years was the availability of free parking.

    Fun but expensive

by Bugeater21 on 9/12/13Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest Grounds) - Milwaukee

The HD 110th Anniv. Celebration was so much fun that we can't wait to attend in another 5 years; however the prices at the Summerfest Grounds were ridiculous.....$6.50 for a can of beer! For that reason we didn't spend as much time there as we normally would have. We spent more time at the dealer events. Some of the music was great, but the majority of it wasn't anything I was interested in listening to. Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, and Dierks Bentley were great. There were many times walking through the grounds that it was obvious they missed the mark on choosing performers because there were maybe 30 people watching! We'd sit down to rest for a while and before you knew it we were all looking at each other asking why are we still sitting here listening to this?? There were local bands playing at other events that were so much better than some of the acts at the Summerfest Grounds.

    all music

by fishla on 9/10/13Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest Grounds) - Milwaukee

the music was terrible. there was only one band worth going to see and that was zz top. I did not know any of the groups that were playing on friday night and saturday night other than zz top. we stop to listen to other bands. one band was singing in spanish which we could not understand. the other band was a three piece band and they were just bad. we will not go to the 115th with a music line up like this. HOG had better music on thursday night. also having to pay to go and see head liners at marcus was way to much money after spending over two hundred dollars just to get in.

    Harley 110

by keysqueen2 on 9/9/13Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest Grounds) - Milwaukee

More than we expected. Milwaukee is a very polite, friendly and clean city. Everyone there, locals and guests were very helpful and accommodating. The event was unbelievable. We have been to several rallies since and have spread the good word for the 115. We stayed at the Days in of the Arts on 6th Street. Great hotel. Super nice people, very clean hotel, good breakfast, fun bar, fun people. Seems like most people there are repeat customers. Definitely be back to Milwaukee for the 115!

by KKHD04 on 9/9/13Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest Grounds) - Milwaukee

the 110th Celebration was 5 Star Amazing!! Harley Davidson knows how to put on a party like no one else. The bands, the competitions, the vendors, Museum Tours, Factory Tours, the parade of motorcycles, area businesses.... everything was absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to see what they have in store when they welcome us home again for the 115th!!!!!! In the meantime - keep the HD legend alive- ride on my friends........

    110th Anniversary Celebration Let Down

by MotoMan51 on 9/9/13Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest Grounds) - Milwaukee

Good news: lots of bikes and people. Bad news: Milwaukee is a toilet bowl that needs to be flushed and cleaned out with bleach. Good things: HD factory tour was cool. HD Headquarters was cool. Concerts at Summerfest Grounds were very very good. Doobie Brothers and Elvin Bishop rocked it! People were all cool, Lots of custome bikes to look at. Museum contents were very cool. Not so good things: The premium ticket i bought was a waste of money. I still had to pay to get into museum, so only thing it got me was into Summerfest Grounds. I could have bought a wrist band for a third of the price. Got screwed out of participating in the parade. Evidently had to win a lottery to get in. Milwaukee has a lot of areas suffering from long term decay and poverty. Someone needs to brings some work up there.

by ROADDOGG19 on 9/9/13Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest Grounds) - Milwaukee

The entire event was very well organized - Great Entertainment - The Summerfest Grounds were clean and well maintained. Food (Favorite Dave's BBQ - exceptional) and beverage accommodations were plentiful, rest rooms were available throughout the park. Excellent views of Lake Michigan - And what can we say that isn't already known about the best made AMERICAN MOTORCYCLE - HARLEY DAVIDSON - Kid Rock - AWESOME!!!!

I was extremely disappointed with the 110th anniversary celebration. Compared to the 100th and the 105th, this event sucked. There was virtually no entertainment other than musical acts at the summerfest grounds. All the groups I was interested in seeing were all grouped in the same time span instead of spread out as before. No stunt riders and no drill teams. What the hell?! This was a motorcycle event! I brought a co-worker along who had never been to an anniversary celebration in Milwaukee, I was telling him beforehand about the Seattle Cossacks and the Indianapolis drill team which I had seen before and what a show they put on and then there was nothing! I felt the dealerships did so much more than the Motor Co. did for THEIR celebration. Plus they charged extra for the concerts? They didn't do that before! For only doing this once every five years I feel they cheaped out on this event and based on this experience I don't know if I will attend any future anniversary celebrations.

    Amazing is not enough!

by Eambrosio on 9/9/13Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest Grounds) - Milwaukee

This is our first event and I can honestly say our expectations were over crowded, chaos and not being organized. It was completely the opposite. It was the most and best 4 days that I could have spent with my wife on our 2013 Heritage Softail Anniversary bike. The people running the event, museum and HD booths throughout the event

    Needed work

by MikeG3 on 9/9/13Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest Grounds) - Milwaukee

Venues were scheduled to close together so you had to choose between music groups you wanted to hear. Also not many vcandors located at Maier park. Could have had better placement around park with additional vendors and bikes.
