Good show, but rain put a damper on quality

by Derek on 4/23/24Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

As always, it was a lot of fun attending the annual show in Foxboro. The competitor line-up was solid, and I am glad they are trying to innovate some of the course layouts this year. Unfortunately a small cell of rain hit the area roughly 30 minutes before show time, and soaked the entire track. Having seen rain affected shows in the past on television, I was weary about how the show's quality would be affected, and unfortunately it did take a hit. Very little traction was available for the trucks to grip the thick mud, and the drivers could only do so much. The skills competition suffered a lot, and freestyle was the biggest let down, because I know this field of drivers can perform a lot better with a dry track. The lack of huge air, saves, and traction unfortunately took the event down a few pegs. Overall it was still a decent show. The drivers did try the best they could with the rain/mud, but were limited. I would still absolutely recommend monster jam to anyone interested. Still makes me feel like a little kid again, especially being a fan for over 20 years now. Just be mindful if you are attending an outdoor event, and rain is in the forecast.

    Monster jam

by Kayla on 4/23/24FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

Venue is too small for the trucks to move , get rid of the voting! No one does it and takes away from the experience . Could be way better to get the crowd hyped before the show

    Good show despite conditions

    by Bday@monster on 4/23/24Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

Monster Jam is always a great time and very exciting. This particular day it rained just before the show. The field ended up being too muddy for the drivers to complete their best tricks. We appreciated their efforts. But, the show wasn't up to Monster Jam's best standards. We still had fun though.

Monster jJam is always a great time!

by Mimi on 4/23/24Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

Despite the rain, we had a lot of fun! My two grandsons are big fans of Grave Digger and we’re so excited because the truck was parked right in front of where we were sitting. We ended up leaving a bit early because we were getting cold from being wet. I don’t think April is the time of year to have an outdoor event in New England.

    It was ok

by Jason on 4/23/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

The arena is too small for an event like this, they can’t get over 10mph. My son had a great time though, otherwise I would give it 1 star.

5pm start time was the best improvement

by Maria on 4/23/24Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

In previous years there was a start time of 7pm and my son would be very tired before the end of the show and never make it to the end. This year, the 5pm time frame was perfect. It rained right before the event and it made for a muddy, fun mess and an exciting show! We purchased a light up wand and it was confusing about where to get those. The staff there were very helpful once we found a help desk, but some information ahead of time would have been appreciated on where to pick up pre-purchased items.

    Good show

by Mfwic61 on 4/23/24North Charleston Coliseum - North Charleston

It was a good show but coliseum was on the smaller side making it harder for the drivers to really let loose. The outdoor shows I've been to were always better when it comes to monster trucks but still had a great time with the family. My wife and son were definitely impressed with big smiles all around

by Dee on 4/23/24Hampton Coliseum - Hampton

The bikes were ok but the truck did practically nothing compared to past years...this was my 3rd...the trucks didn't even try to jump the dirt pile and only 1 backflip....what happened to the T.rex...set up and breakdown took forever with the bikes..I was not entertained or my 2 eleven yr. It was a blast!!!

by Mike on 4/23/24Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

Having electronic tickets on my phone eliminates the chance of losing them. That's a big plus for me. 😁 And my grandson loved Monster Jam!

    Overpriced tickets

by Jake on 4/23/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

Way overpriced for what is held at the event, little track for only one truck at a time, drivers baby there truck so it will last other showtimes.

    Ok to small

by Dmoney on 4/23/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

Small venue, second show of the day. Several truck torn up or mechanical problems. Area is to small for these trucks. Not very crowded easy to get refreshments.

    Moster jam event

by Beba on 4/23/24Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

It was my first time going.. For the price they were charging it was too little of a show they didn't do much but going around and around I was expecting more action between the cars..

    Just ok

by Mom of Boys on 4/23/24Hampton Coliseum - Hampton

The pit party was good. The actual show dragged, it got boring with all the extra waiting time. The dirt bikes were really cool! It was also very cold inside.

Lots of broken trucks pit party ended before time

by Former fan on 4/23/24Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

The trucks broke down so often it wasnt even worth the price of admission. I didnt get to see half the trucks do more than around 30 seconds of free style. I also bought pit passes. The pit party was supposed to go on till 3 but every single truck had there basically empty line shut at 2:30 and getting screamed at because i dared step in a line i didnt know was closed. The monster truck ride ended at like 2. This was total bullplop. I wont pay the price again ever. Ill go to the other monster truck rally where the show is better and it costs less. Monster Jam was awesome years ago now like everything else its too commercial and all about the money. Ill never go again!

    Great show!

by Gramps of 4 on 4/23/24Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

The show was awesome. There was alit of rain prior to the show so it was slick conditions for the trucks. As the show went on they got some more traction but it didn’t hurt the show in any way. We had a great time. We with my son and grandson (6)
