This years hard summer was so much better than last years, the new venue was great and everything the only thing is all the dirt flyig around on the main stage that really bugged me because it was supposed to be "greener" but overall nothing to complain about the artists were amazing as well as the sound and visuals defiantly coming again next year
HARD always puts on a great event and Jack U was bananas!
HARD really needs to up their production and organization. Security is rude and nearly molested me coming in. Compared to Insomniac events this is like a house party.
I GO EVERY YEAR BUT THIS YEAR WAS JUST EPIC, AMAZING AND OUTSTANDING .. GOT TO SEE ASAP MOD AND ONCE AGAIN THE BEST TOMMY TRASH
Besides Hard Summer 2011, this years event has been the best so far! I enjoyed every genre of music at each stage, the crowds vibe was intimate & attending it alone on both days made me feel happy about life. Although, the venues dirt gave me bad allergy reaction & I also lost my voice; also will call & parking could have been faster & more organized; I LOVED IT! Can't wait for Hards Fest NEXT upcoming festival!
I was there 2 years ago and there was intermittent sound troubles. BOOOooo. Fix it, still a fan though.
It was incredible. My only regret is that I wish I had shown up right when it started rather than 5 pm.
The lineup was great and the festival park was great (besides some dust), but the sound was really poor. At a music festival, I was to actually hear the music. I want to feel it. I was in the middle of the crowd (even at the main stage) and was hearing people talk in a normal voice around me rather than the bass. Very disappointing. I would love to come to more Hard events since the lineups are so amazing, but I will not shell out any more money since I couldn't even hear my favorite bands.
This was my first massive and I loved it! Made me crave more events like this! I would gladly revisit next year! Such good vibes and REAL people!
Excellent line-up...Mind Blown from BASSNECTAR. There seemed like 10,000+ people around the park, so many people. Do not wear new sneakers (ravers should know this) they will get dirty. Crowded and sweaty but everyone had a great time, great party, good food. The Shave Ice was really good and good deal for the price. THE BASS was hard and the artists were great

I've been to Coachella, EDC, and Hard Day of the Dead and I can say I think I had the most fun at Hard Summer or at least got the most for my money. There were no lines at all. Some of the friendliest concert goers I have ever been around. All of the stages were very cool and well separated. If you're a fan of any type of electronic music (besides trance) Hard had it this year. There were HUGE names such as Knife Party, Dog Blood, Flux Pavillion, Disclosure, Kill Noise, Duck Sauce, Tommy Trash, RL Grime & Clockwork (separate shows!), Empire of the Sun, Zedd, Bassnectar, Crystal Castles, Dillon Francis, 2 Chainz, Flosstradamus, Baauer, Justice, Gesaffelstein, and many more all in 2 days. Everyone I know saw at least several shows that really blew their mind. For me it was Flosstradamus, Flux Pavillion, Knife Party, and Dillon Francis. The only thing I wish was different was the start and end times. No one wants to go to a rave during the day. The atmosphere is just so much better at night.
I never been to one of those things and honestly was the best night of my life. Unforgetable!!
Hard Summer 2013 was an event I will never forget. The the line up was stacked!! Crowd traffic wasn't too bad and there was free water after your first purchase. I would recommend this event to anyone looking to get down to some funky music and have and have an unforgettable time!!!
Best time ever!!! Definitely worth my money!! Going back next heard for sure. The vibes were good and the music was amazing
My friends and I experienced the best two nights of our summer at this event. Every summer our close group does a girls trip. Last year we went to Rock the Bells but this year we wanted to try something more up beat. HARD Summer was the best choice we could possible make. Most sets were on time but ALL performances put on a great show! I felt one with the crowd and enjoyed other forms of entertainment such as several rides.
This was such an amazing festival, the shows preformed were unforgettable, I will never miss this show again
