I love Hank's music and songs. He barely played any of HIS songs. Very disappointed.

This was the 3rd time I've seen Hank Jr. Awesome job, one of the world's greatest entertainers. I took my 8 year old son, because I wanted him to see the ICON on stage. We and thousands of others watched in amazement, in rain, as he performed. My son said he'd would go see Hank Jr. Again. Despite the rain, we feel blessed to have been a part of one of his 22 shows this year.

  • Very energetic show

The performances were great and very energetic. The seats were great (I won them through a radio station). The venue is great for a seated event; it doesn't work so well when everyone is up dancing in the seating areas. My only real complaint (other than the weather) is the price of refreshments, $14 for a can of $4 beer is a bit much.

Great event, well organized, just wish there was a way to make people remain in their seats.

  • Great Concert

by Wyatt on 8/28/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Hank Jr concert was amazing. He’s still going STRONG!! I would’ve liked him to be more interactive with the audience but musically he was fantastic. It rained very hard during the opening act, Old Crow Medicine Show, but they were great too! Just as Hank Jr was taking stage, the rain turned to a light drizzle, a sign from above!

  • Great event

by Uncle Fats on 8/28/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Staff were great, im a big fan of the venue. Nice improvements. Hopefully they keep adding to it each year. Hank always puts on a good show (#Legend). Old Crow was a great performance as well. Well done Bangor.

  • Great Show!

by SammyB on 8/28/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The only bad thing about the show as that it rained the entire time and the venue has no cover. The show itself was fantastic. Old Crow Medicine Show opened and they were not what I expected. I was expecting more of a bluegrass type of thing but they were like Bluegrass meets punk rock. Super high energy show with great music and very charismatic performers. After a short intermission Hank Jr. came up really put on a great show as well. I had never seen him before and I was very impressed. I am primarily a rock and roll guy but I also like the old (pre 1990s) country music. Hank is a fantastic musician and singer. He played guitar, fiddle and piano during the show as well as singing all of the songs of course. At point in the show the band left the stage and he played solo for several songs. That's where you really separate the truly talented folks from the rest. You can't cover up bad singing and/or playing when it's just you up on stage. Would definitely recommend catching his how even your a music fan. Even if you're not that into country music you will still be impressed and enjoy the show.

  • Just WOW!

by Hav on 8/28/23Rating: 5 out of 5

On a rainy evening...did not expect that quality of show from a Legend like that. Going to many many shows in the past...it's a Top 5 for us! Amazing venu and even more amazing the Artist! Thanks Hank for the great evening!

  • One of the best!

by BrendaLee on 8/28/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Hank Williams is one of the best and he proved it at the Bangor show. He is highly energetic. His band is great. We had so much fun. We have seen him twice and will go again if he is near Bangor again. Keep rocking, Hank!

It was a very great concert. Old Crow was great loved Hank Williams, but it was just sucked because it rained. But other than that, I love the show.

  • GREAT SHOW

by MINDY on 8/28/23Rating: 4 out of 5

WHAT A GREAT SHOW!! HANK WAS JUST AS GOOD THE SECOND TIME SEEING HIM AS HE WAS THE FIRST TIME I SEEN HIM IN OHIO!! VENUE NEEDS IMPROVEMENT!! SMOKING SECTION, WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE LITTLE MORE ROOM BETWEEN SEATS, I UNDERSTAND CRAMMING AS MANY PEOPLE IN THERE HOWEVER WHEN YOU HAVE SEATS AND PATRONS SITTING SO CLOSE ITS HARD TO ENJOY YOURSELF WITH ELBOWS JABBING EACH OTHER AND KNEES HITTING SEATS IN FRONT OF YOU. OVERALL THE VENUE IS BEAUTIFUL, BATHROOMS ARE THE CLEANEST IVE SEEN IN MY LIFE!! THAT MANY PEOPLE USING THEM AND YET THEY WERE STILL CLEANER THAN WALMART :)

  • Hank Jr

Phenomenal show! Hank Jr did a great job, Old Crow Medicine show opened for him and did a great job as well

  • Loved the show. Venue price gouges.

by Hank was great! on 8/28/23Rating: 1 out of 5

The show was great, sound was great but I find it ridiculous that 2 seltzers and 2 mixed drinks cost over $100 in Bangor Maine. No need of that especially since you can't even deviate from the 4 or 5 drinks on the menu. We saw Tyler Chilers in Portland earlier this month and drinks were not even half the cost they were at the waterfront. Think 2 craft beers was costing me $16. I would have honestly expected the opposite. Not sure I'll be spending my money at this place anymore knowing I can see a show in Portland and spend way less.

  • Horrible Show

by Sam on 8/28/23Rating: 2 out of 5

I was very disappointed in Hank Williams, Jr. performance on Friday night in Bangor, Maine. Every concert I have been to this Summer has been awesome - regardless of the fact that it rained during each concert. However, he did not put on a decent concert at all - very disappointing!!

  • Best Music ever

by Animal on 8/23/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I started listening to Hank back in the late 70’s, was lucky to see 3 concerts in the 80’s. It’s been our choice of music at the hunting cabin throughout our lives. I’m now upper 60’s and still enjoy listening to what I consider the best songs and sound I’ve ever heard. It’s true- A country Boy can survive in this world. His best in my opinion-The Blues Man
