One of the best concerts I have ever been to. He put on one hell of a show. Would go to see him anytime and anywhere.

  • The Concert Only Hank Could Tell...

    by Pete21784 on 5/21/24Jiffy Lube Live - BristowRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to hundreds of concerts in my time. Generally, a crowd is into it to a point and will stand up initially and then sit down and watch the whole concert. Not here! This 74-year-old party animal, Hank Williams Jr, had this crowd whipped up into a frenzy with song after song and he interacted with the crowd any he made you feel like he was one of you and you were one of him. This man should be a shining star to those who are carrying the mantra now in the spotlight. He's a good ole boy who grew up slightly advantaged or disadvantaged due to his father, survived a terrible accident, played with some of the best in the industry like Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash and many more. If you want to really see what true country royalty is… This is a show for you!

  • Short show

by Shygirl on 5/21/24Jiffy Lube Live - BristowRating: 3 out of 5

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band was great. But I felt like Hank Williams Jr was past the point of trying. His set was very short with no encores and he didn’t fully play his two biggest hits including “Family Tradition” and “All My Rowdy Friends”. I realize he’s over 70 but it was my only concert of the summer and I was disappointed.

It didn’t work when I got there. What’s up with the tickets on the phone? give us back the paper tickets let us download them and print them out that will solve everything.

  • Great show ok venue

by Mr.Concert on 5/20/24Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek - RaleighRating: 4 out of 5

We had an amazing time at the concert. The only cons: No cash venue (Would have spent way more) No bags for merchandise. (Don't want merch to get dirty) Overpriced food and drinks (Need bigger portions and more lax drink regulations)

  • great concert.

  • Concept was good but can not take in lawn Chairs

by J Surles on 5/20/24Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek - RaleighRating: 3 out of 5

concept was fun but they got where they want money so bad now they will not let you bring in any chairs, if you want to sit in the lawn and in a chair you have to Rent for them. I would not recommend going here for a show. Red hat is so much Better.

  • Real Country

by Bobby T on 5/20/24Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

Hank can still do real country music better then any of the so called country artists of today. At almost 75 years old still sounds as good as he did in the 80's. Bocephus is a must see!!

  • Loved!!

  • Best night out in a long time!

by LH on 5/20/24Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

Hank put on a great show! Going to one of his concerts was on my bucket list and he did not disappoint at all. I can’t say anything I would change except maybe if it lasted longer, but good times have to end. I would do it again if I could!

  • Bring back the lawn chairs policy

by Scearce on 5/20/24Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek - RaleighRating: 3 out of 5

Was so angry after I got there to find out that I had to rent a chair and could not bring in my own!! If I wanted to do that I would have selected option to upgrade to lawn chairs!! It’s ridiculous that you can’t allow chairs in venue! Instead you making millions of dollars off people on chairs because you don’t want to take 10 seconds to search chair bag! You make us take chairs out of bags anyway before entering, this should not be a problem at security gate to change policy. Probably will never go back to Walnut Creek Amphitheater!

  • It was very exciting

by Tan on 5/20/24Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

I always been a big fan of Hank Williams Jr. Ever since I was young. I used to write to him a lot. Love the show.

  • Had a great time

by Nate on 5/20/24Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek - RaleighRating: 4 out of 5

Hank put on a good show. Wish he had performed just a little longer and I didn't hear a few songs I really wanted to hear. All in all though for a 70+ year old man it was a good show.
