The Brighton Music Hall is a large black cavernous open room. I wish they had warned me that it was a standing room only venue, I'm not used to standing up for 3 hours, but I managed. The staff was great, the beer was cold and reasonable and the crowd was subdued and happy to be there.
Paige Chaplin opened the show with 3 songs. She has a lovely voice and plays guitar very well, but I would like to hear her do some different styles as all her numbers tended to sound the same.
Haley and the band rocks! High energy, she did mostly her new album, What's That Sound, as to be expected. I would have loved to heard more of her PMJ (beside her marvelous rendition of Creep) and other solo covers.
Great show all around! I'm glad I took the 2 hour ride to see it.
