    Fun show, wonderful talent

by Me on 5/11/24Fox Performing Arts Center - Riverside

We enjoyed the show but doubt we will ever go to a Live Nation event again. The show was advertised to start at 7pm and it began at 8:25pm, plus it had a 35 minute intermission. Staff told us 7pm was the time the doors open, but that is not what our tickets said or the massive ads or the website! No water was available without purchase, no drinking fountain! A huge issue with parking my mobility scooter, and about 5 different opinions by staff. I commend the production, which was filled with talented performers. The venue was historical and quite interesting. The staff working the doors, the concessions and the ushers were not the best for such a wonderful show. It seemed more like they usually work at a sporting event as opposed to a Broadway show. They did not seem very professional. It was very disappointing for the show to begin nearly 1.5 hours late. Because of poor communication with the start time, many patrons were disappointed and made a lot of comments while waiting in line. This got me a bit nervous that a fight could break out, but the crowd was well behaved, just understandably frustrated.

    Pleasantly surprised

by SAC on 5/2/24Centennial Hall - Tucson

I took my wife, daughter and a couple of her friends. I had not seen either the movie or the Broadway show, so wasn't sure what to expect. The girls were all chatting after, and I was amazed at the energy of the performers. The dances and cast looked like they performed with ease, but we all know took some time and dedication. I was a very enjoyable experience. I typically gauge a show on whether I would go back to see it again. I would!! Thanks for the wonderful time!!

    Okay

by Gail on 4/30/24Centennial Hall - Tucson

As always, I found the extremely poor sound system to be a detraction. I also think the mics were probably turned up louder than they should’ve been in an effort to overcome this, which simply made it worse. I also feel very strongly that having a man play Tracy‘s mother was extremely distracting to the play and took away a lot of the enjoyment for me.

    Issue with sound

by Melanie on 4/30/24Centennial Hall - Tucson

Loved the dancing and singing but the sound balance wasn't right. Couldn't understand the singer most of the time

    A BIG NOPE

by June on 4/30/24Centennial Hall - Tucson

All of the music sounded the same. The venue, Centennial Hall in Tucson, has very poor acoustics.
