Best experience I ever had. Being my first time going to a musical, and loved it. They got every spot of the movie which caught me by surprised!! Worth going.

dude i loved it soooo much i would defiantly recommend it to anyone and see it multiple times. obviously it was a little different from the movie but still lived up to my expectations very well! 10/10!!

The show is epic - always. Have seen it on Broadway, at the Kennedy Center and now Broadway in Hollywood. The Tracy lead was excellent, Seaweed could have had a more powerful voice and the ensemble chorus exceptional - dancing superb. "Mrs" Turnblad was the best in that role I've ever seen re: comic timing and expression. Bravo

Went to see Hairspray on Tour at The Beautiful Dolby Theatre and it was AMAZING!!! Nina West as Edna was a standout, as well as the girl who played Shelley, Helene Britany and the woman who played Velma Addison Garner - and Niki Metcalf was a great Tracy! I’ve seen every production of this musical from the first Broadway show and tour and the all the movies including Hairspray Live on tv, and this production did not disappoint- choreography was amazing, lighting was good, band sounded great- but the sound at times seemed to be off- mic’s going in and out- not the performers fault seems to be the sound guys- all in all it was a wonderful night for live theatre!

Hairspray had a ton of jokes and a lot of lines made you think “didn’t think of it that way”. It had great singing and dancing too.

The show was great all the cast did a phenomenal job. My issue was with the sound. It did not fill up the room. The sound felt like it was all treble and no bass in many parts. My friend and I all agreed the sound wasn’t good which is odd because Dolby is the sponsor of the building.

My husband and I hadn’t seen Hairspray since maybe 2008? We have a 12 year old (who’s very into history, specifically through a social justice lens) and a 9 year old who just loves the magic of musical theater. This performance was the first time we’ve seen it live with an actual Drag Queen as Edna and WOW!! It was a whole new level of performance!! I’m so glad we were able to see this. We saw on it on a Wednesday night and the energy was just high as a Friday or Saturday night. The talent of EVERYONE was out of this world. Such a must see!!!

Was an absolutely fabulous show. Funny, energetic, captivating, dazzling, dynamic show. As soon as it was over I wanted to buy tickets to see it again the next day. A must see!

This is one of mine and my 18 year old daughters' all-time favorite musicals and this cast did not disappoint! The vocal ranges were spot on and everyone in the crowd was singing and dancing in their seats at the end! It is such a feel good show and Edna had our heart! Definitely go see it! It will brighten your day for sure!!!

Actors were clearly having fun, they all had their personalities, they didn’t just copy and paste from one actor to another. Had loads of fun

The cast was terrific and it was Marc Shaimin's score at it's very best. Totally loved it.

This was a great production of Hairspray. I have seen it about 4 times including the original cast in New York. This was a gret cast and overall production. It was high energy. The choreography and dancers were great. All the cast really delivered.

Hairspray is always a good time, and this cast doesn’t disappoint. Great sets, lighting and costumes too!
