Hairspray (Touring) Tickets

We had seen this before but thought this show was better. Cast was great!

This was a great show, the singers were great and brought the energy you'd expext from this musical. Tracy, Edna and Motormout Maybelle stole the show with their singing, acting and comedic additions. I recommend this show to anyone looking for a fun and engaging musical.

I had balcony seats which I would not sit in again due to the angle. Even though we were about 10 minutes late they kindly seated us. (5 stars) All staff was beyond nice and gave good direction. The seats are extremely small and need to be updated but the incredible performance made everything better. 4 stars due to the chairs being way too small. Literally had the person next to me leg and arm touching mine the entire time and there was no room to adjust.

I saw Hairspray 10-15 years ago for the first time and was so excited to see it again! This cast was amazing!! Special shout out to the actor playing Maybell - just WOW!! I also could not tell Amber and Velma apart - so great casting! I really enjoyed the show. Gammage is always a great venue. I loved the wine selection for this show. I only wish they would designate an ride share pick up/drop off spot. Whenever we leave it ends up being chaos as we walk to try to find rides and no one from the venue is able/willing to help.

Qent with my 3 adult sons and we all loved it. I'm so glad to share music with them.

This is the 1st time I have watched this famous musical. I enjoyed the music behind the message of "can't we all just dance together."

This show was so mind blowing! THE COLORS AND COSTUMES MADE THE SHOW! i absolutely loved edna

The show was amazing! All cast members were extremely talented. The only issue I had was with the sound. The mics were very low during all dialect between cast members on the stage and some of the song were barely audible. I was in row 12 and was able to hear bits and pieces. The cast members had such beautiful voices but were sometimes lost due to the sound issue. Again the show was amazing, but they need to deal with the sound problems in this Theater.

It was amazing! The cast was spot on and the talent some of the best I’ve seen. The energy was so fun. My daughter and I loved every minute of it!!

The production was amazing. The performers didn't miss a beat, which is incredible, considering that they were singing and dancing their hearts out. Lots of fun and we really enjoyed the show. Why not five stars? Twice we've gone to shows and the volume is a little too low. Both during Hairspray and The Lion King, there were moments in the show that were inaudible. Not every performer, nor throughout the show, but there are times that we couldn't hear. (BTW, I'm in my 40's and not hard of hearing.) If volume could be turned up about 2-3 notches, sound would have been perfect. Also, the seats. It's time, Gammage, to update the seats. All the movie theatres have done it, so I know you can, too.

I have always loved the original with Ricki Lake and the update one as well with John Travolta. I have always been an Edna fan. My husband bought me tickets for my birthday last month and we made a date night of it

Auch a wonderful evening. The cast was amazing. Ive seen this show many times but have never beennas engaged as this. Dont walk but run to this touring show...

From the very first line. This show is pure joy for everyone. What a night. Much needed.

I’ve always loved Hairspray but this was my first time seeing it on stage. Even better than I had hoped! The cast was outstanding and the music was flawless. There were some sound issues with the mix and a crackling speaker but that was a minor distraction. I took my sister as a birthday present and she knew nothing about it, but she loved it too. We waited 9 months to see it and it was worth the wait.

The cast was fantastic! Everyone performed their hearts out. Can’t recommend enough.

The show was great - fun and really great singing and character work from the actors. However, getting in and out was a nightmare. We parked where we were told and despite the signs on the parking lot saying parking was 8 dollars or so, turns out that night it had been bumped to 20. And then on the way out, we had to wait 2 hours to exit the parking lot. It was the most unorganized, insane thing I have ever seen - and I've been to the Hollywood Bowl. Dampened the whole experience unfortunately.

I would say that the actors were great. There were awkward silences and it seemed like the audio was not working properly and making random sounds. Also, i was disappointed that they didn't perform the roach dance.

The cast was awesome. Dolby theatre was beyond my expectations. Staff and bartenders all very friendly

This musical show is amazing! its funny and very entertaining. The performers were all very talented and perfect for their roles. Songs were also wonderful and enjoyable. Overall this show worth watching.
