  • 1st time in years

by Meg on 11/29/22Ford Center - EvansvilleRating: 4 out of 5

We took our 7 year old grandson who had yet to experience the Hadi Shrine Circus. He really enjoyed all of the acts with Alexander and his upside down world being his favorite followed by the motorcycles. Having grown up with a bunch of brothers and sisters, I never got to ride an elephant at the circus, so we made sure to include this in our fun. Wow, I have to say, I felt as if I could relate to poor little Ralphie when those mean elves pushed he and his little brother through that line waiting for Santa. I understand there are a lot of people in a short time to get on and off of the elephants, but could they be a little nicer about it? Ater all, $20 a person should at least get you a smile and some courtesy!!

  • Excellent as Always!

Hats Off to the Hadi Shrine Circus! Great Circus, been going since I was a boy, I am now 60yrs. We are extremely grateful to have such a high caliber circus in Evansville...and the elephants are beautiful!

  • We went with three young grandkids. Overall a great event.

Loud system was way too loud. We brought ear protection but the music and host was still too loud.

  • Terrible

by Joe on 11/29/22Ford Center - EvansvilleRating: 1 out of 5

People showing up late staining in front of you could not see. They had no damn tigers or lions and it was not worth 42. Damn dollars a person.

  • Good

by Defe on 11/28/22Ford Center - EvansvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I thought the circus was nice but my granddaughter was extremely scared of the clowns was never escaped like that before. The ladies at the top of the stairs was nice enough to give us different seats and my granddaughter calmed down

  • More Animals

by Circus friends on 11/28/22Ford Center - EvansvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Camel rides were way too expensive!!! I realize the money goes for a great cause…. But, in this time real folks need to have fun experiences for their children too. Also I am sure the animals in this circus are treated good and people are just crazy taking things way too far. The circus has been in operation for 88 years that ought to tell folks something.

  • 1st circus experience

by Jose on 11/28/22Ford Center - EvansvilleRating: 3 out of 5

It was ok. Primarily for children. I did like some of the magic stunts and juggling. The dog tricks were cool.

  • Not the same

by Mo on 11/28/22Ford Center - EvansvilleRating: 3 out of 5

We missed the animals! I don’t appreciate paying the money I did to watch local gymnasts jump around! And the “filler” acts of dancers & Pom Pom girls was also a disappointment! The rest of the circus was enjoyable and appreciated but not sure I’ll come back. It just wasn’t the same!

  • Circus time!

    by Tom S. on 11/28/22Ford Center - EvansvilleRating: 5 out of 5

The Hadi Shine Circus is a tradition! This year many of the acts were new and most exciting! There was many different "effects " like lighting, smoke and good music that added to the overall quality of the show. The timing of the acts were spot on! My only concern is that I heard for next year there will be no animals like Elaphants and Camel's which we saw this year! Missed the Lions and Tigers!

Second time we have been. Taking grandkids from different families each time. Love it

  • Family Fun

by Tammy on 11/27/22Ford Center - EvansvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Miss the tigers! The circus is suppose to have animal acts! The ones complaining are still going to complain about something!! It only makes it a disappointment for the ones that actually enjoy the circus! I hope you don’t take all the animal acts away or it won’t be a circus anymore! I would like to see more clown acts and motorcycle tricks. Overall it was a really great time and my family really enjoyed it!! Hope to be back next year!!!

  • Felt like a kid again

Loved every moment, just like when my mom used to take me! I took my kids and we all had so much fun!!!

  • Fantastic and small!

    by Bear 🐻 on 12/1/21Ford Center - EvansvilleRating: 4 out of 5

The event was amazing, had far more than I had expected and I enjoyed it with my children. From heights of danger and shooting a man from a cannon to all kinds of animals and tricks. Only downside to the even was the seating, very small space to work with and there was no information on which side was the front or back, the event definitely focused one side far more, leaving the butts of animals to the other side only.

  • Big Circus Fan

by Jan on 12/1/21Ford Center - EvansvilleRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I are real circus fans-especially when they have animals as few now do . I googled Live Animal Circus and saw there was one, the Hadi Shriner Circus, playing in Evansville, Indiana over the Thanksgiving weekend. We purchased 2 will-call seats through Ticketmaster and all went well. It was an excellent show.

  • DISAPPOINTED

by Donna on 12/1/21Ford Center - EvansvilleRating: 1 out of 5

I was greatly disappointed in the circus this year. We have been in the past and thoroughly enjoyed the circus. I think it is sad that you charge $20.00 for a child to ride an elephant when it takes longer for the child to get on the elephant than the ride itself. I paid $40.00 for my 2 granddaughters to ride an elephant that did not last 20 seconds. I had no problem paying the money, but I expected them to at least have a decent ride. You should be ashamed. That is a pathetic rip-off. We also rode the camels, the horses, and took picture with the dogs. With that being said, it cost over $110.00 for my 2 granddaughters not counting admission and snacks. I also think it is terrible that you advertise certain things to be at circus but when you get there it's not the case. If this was my first time going to the circus, I would NEVER go again.

  • Great experience

    by Khouchin10 on 11/30/21Ford Center - EvansvilleRating: 5 out of 5

We all enjoyed the circus with its amazing stunts, animals, and entertainment. All of the talents were worth showcasing. We had second row seats. The spot light was glaring in my face during the trapeze act to where the people around me and I couldn’t see, but someone finally turned it off. Before the show, a lady was complaining that I was sitting in her seats. I bought mine from Ticketmaster. She went to talk to someone for help, and she never came back. I’m guessing they took care of her, but it was a strange situation. Overall, it was a great experience. My kids really enjoyed it too, and we would go back again.

  • Just soso

    by Nana4 on 11/30/21Ford Center - EvansvilleRating: 3 out of 5

There was no WOW this year no sitting on edge of seat. It was ok but not great. Already decided I won’t go next year. My 5 year old grandson didn’t even get into it.

  • Great show!

by Bekka on 11/30/21Ford Center - EvansvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I was expecting to see lions or tigers a bear and a monkey and there were none. The rest of the show was great though.

  • Great family adventure for a good cause!

Set a budget as you can spend a little or alot on extras! Prompt the kids they have a budget to spend and choices to make.
