The line up was great, but it was to many artists in the line up. Tucker, Calvin Richardson, pokey bear, Tk soul. The line up should have started in this row. But further more the concert was a blast. And a beautiful thing to see our black people under one roof with no situations. Just fantastic!!
I really couldn't understand what some of them was singing because the band mics we're louder than the mics of the singers. The showmanship of the singers we're great just that one flaw.
This is the 5th year of attending the The H-Town Blues Festival. Great show and artists as always.
Me and my friends loved the show the line up was, awesom that TUCKA always give us a great show but everyone was great the staff was so nice parking was easy only problem the bathrooms was so NASTY it should be some staff there to keep it some what clean i know with an ecent like that it can be hard but asign some staff to monitor the bathroom but overall enjoued the show XANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE FIVE STAR ALL THE WAY and getting the tickets frim ticketmaster made it easy to get in besr thing everđTHANKS
I hadnât attended a Blues Festival in a while so when this one became available, I had to get a ticket. Well... I didnât enjoy this one as much. Iâm not a big fan of TRACK MUSIC. The entertainers mostly talked to the audience and if you had a floor seat , I was told that the music couldnât be understood because it was so loud and it echoed. I probably wonât be attending a Blues Festival again.
Show was ok.... could be better. Felt kind of rushed. Venue pricing was outrageous. Also venue seating was completely different from ticketmaster map. Venue was an improvement from last year. Looking forward to next year!
The theater could use railing for seating when climbing stairs that's not safe especially when serving alcohol The artist could have stayed on longer especially Tucker also it was not made clear that certain artist would not be performing and another artist would be replacing them Better Organization for taking tickets and seating Not worth the money paid The artist performed good
The show from start to finish was great! My parents enjoyed the show!
Show was good, having new artists what a great way to support upcoming artists. The venue needs more hand rails.
Great til the last second. Each sn every artist was amazing. It's something I look forward to every year. See you next year
Lenny Williams was the best. He did an ole school performance- ding & dancing. He sang is his top hits. Calvin Richardson was second best. He sang his most popular and worked his way through the crowd. The other in concert were not very good shows. They didnât add any energy to their shows-they just stood and sung. With the exception of TK Soukl, the other performance did sang their most popular music. TK Soul did a lot of talking. He thanked the crowd for 17 years & was recapping his social media ratings & money made. TK Soul talked more than he sang. Tuna was disappointing. The show new comers did not match up to Sir Charles & Omar Cunningham from last year. I missed Sir Charles! The DJ was better than this group as a whole.
I moved to Houston in 2017 after living in Atlanta for 20 yrs. The venue was great but the sound check was horrible for every artist after Pokey Bear!!! So new music was never heard and if you didn't know the lyrics to the old, it was a waist of money! We came to hear the artist sing, not us!
I suggest more performers. Please add Sir Charles Jones & Willie Clayton back to the lineup.
Everything was wonderful I really had a good time I take my mom every year and she really enjoy herself
This year the production was poor and cheap. Calvin Richardson was a great addition to the lineup.
Ronnie Bell didnât do a good job but everyone else was awesome
Awesome time....easy to purchase tickets ...great parking
This event was just not the same...more southern soul than blues. The artist all performed well, i just prefer more down home blues. Most likely my last blues festival.
It was great i think they should have gotten I Big Pokey to. It was great overall
