About Guster:
Guster continues supporting its latest new release, Easy Wonderful. But this tour will also mark the release of a special edition EP including new material and never released rarities. Since the debut in October, Easy Wonderful peaked at #22 on the Billboard Top 200 and clinched the #2 spot on the Alternative Albums chart. The album's sunny and extremely hummable first single, "Do You Love Me" was at Top Ten single on the Adult Alternative Album charts, and the band has just released their follow single "Architects and Engineers." Guster's live performances have become legendary. The group continues to inject humor and heart into every single show they play.
About Jack's Mannequin:
After his hard-working punk-pop quintet Something Corporate decided to take a break in the summer of 2004, Andrew McMahon found himself writing a batch of confessional piano-driven songs that explored his return home to Orange County and his attempt to reconnect with the people he had alienated when he left to tour with Something Corporate. With the help of several musician friends (which included producer Jim Wirt and Mötley Crüe's Tommy Lee), McMahon began recording Everything in Transit under the moniker Jack's Mannequin. Since then, McMahon has gone on to release one other studio album with Jack's Mannequin titled The Glass Passenger, toured with the likes of The Fray and Weezer, released the documentary "Dear Jack" which followed his treatment and recovery from leukemia, and is now prepping to release People and Things, his third studio album (Summer 2011).

It was 8th time seeing Guster (3x this year - other two shows were in Pittsburgh and AC with Dave Mattews)and as usual I was not disappointed! They always put on a fantistic show. They are sooooooooo much fun to see live - Brian is amazing on the drums and Adam and Ryan have awesome voices. I finally took my daughters to a show and now they are hooked! Already looking forward to them
This was the fifth time I saw Guster live, and not only am I continued to be blown away -- I think I leave the shows liking them more than I already did. Honestly I wasn't really looking forward to Jack's Mannequin's half of the show, but was pleasantly surprised by their artistic quality as well. Overall, this was an incredible show (Ra Ra Riot was an excellent opener as well, but I believe they are no longer on the ticket). Definitely recommended.
Both Jack's Mannequin and Guster were incredible. Whoever's idea it was to have them perform together is brilliant!
Awesome show! I loved that Guster and Jack's Mannequin invited each other onstage to play together during each of their sets- very cool! Even though it was storming outside it didn't stop the show; overall had an amazing time!
Guster and Jacks Mannequinn are a power team of awesome music and stage presence! A beautiful night for an outdoor concert, both bands were energetic, amusing, and immensely talented. Both also expressed gratitude to the fans and had a genuinely good time which was felt by the crowd.
I took my two daughters to the show and we were all dancing in the isle, when Jack's Mannequin hit the stage!!! Andrew and the band were so full of energy and played all the songs we were hoping to hear!!! Came home Sunday and preorder the new CD coming out in October....we are hoping they will be back next year and playing all their new hits!!!
Great event! Sound was great, and the set list was great too.
Started on time?!? great sound and show. Parking was challenging.
As usual, Guster put on a fantastic show. They never let down their fans! I must say that Jack's Mannequin really impressed me as well. i was not a big fan going into the evening but their live performance really brought out their music like a studio album can't. Greta job everyone!
The show was awesome! Guster had such amazing energy-- such a fun show!
The set up was quick, the bands came on quickly, and everyone performed amazingly. The photo pit was huge and that can be good or bad depending on who you are, but I was in the first row of the crowd and it would have been nice to be a few feet closer to the stage. One thing I didn't like was the way the lines were handled when the doors opened. People at the front of the line who had been waiting in the sun since morning were cut by people who came later who ran to the front after doors opened. Getting in was a mess. But pretty much everything else was great.
The concert was AWESOME!!! I loved all the songs they played. Jack's Mannequin was great too.
Concert was lovely. Both bands were fantastic as well as the night itself on the riverside. It was co-headlining so Jack's Mannequin went on first and plays a great 16 song setlist followed by Guster (personal favorite) who was just as satisfying if not better with their own 19 song setlist. Evening finished with an encore of Guster (feat. Andrew McMahon of Jack's Mannequin).
I have been a fan of Jack's Mannequin for years, and this was the first time I was able to see them in concert. It was well worth the wait! Andrew McMahon is an unbelieveable performer and made their show so much fun to watch. The band's energy was electric and they sounded amazing live. I would see them again in a second!!
Guster played a great show. Every song was enjoyable even though I only knew a few.
Loved both the venue and Jack's Mannequin! Looking for other events at this venue!
Amazing venue with such a great show! Jack's Mannequin always brings it and Andrew does such a great job! This was the first time I saw Guster and I have a new great band to listen to! I've never seen so many instruments played by one band! They had a bongo player and a keytar! Even the opening band was awesome!
Just amazing. Jack's Mannequin was better than I could have imagined.
Guster did exactly what they have always done, captivate the hearts of the crowd. NO matter what you were feeling walking into Festival Pier, you walked out a happy person and feeling fulfilled. Guster played a lot of my favorite songs and they even got a little creative later on when they put some new spins on a few of their new songs and Adam even whipped out the bongos!
