About

About Guster:

Guster continues supporting its latest new release, Easy Wonderful.  But this tour will also mark the release of a special edition EP including new material and never released rarities.  Since the debut in October, Easy Wonderful peaked at #22 on the Billboard Top 200 and clinched the #2 spot on the Alternative Albums chart.  The album's sunny and extremely hummable first single, "Do You Love Me" was at Top Ten single on the Adult Alternative Album charts, and the band has just released their follow single "Architects and Engineers."  Guster's live performances have become legendary. The group continues to inject humor and heart into every single show they play.

About Jack's Mannequin:

After his hard-working punk-pop quintet Something Corporate decided to take a break in the summer of 2004, Andrew McMahon found himself writing a batch of confessional piano-driven songs that explored his return home to Orange County and his attempt to reconnect with the people he had alienated when he left to tour with Something Corporate. With the help of several musician friends (which included producer Jim Wirt and Mötley Crüe's Tommy Lee), McMahon began recording Everything in Transit under the moniker Jack's Mannequin.  Since then, McMahon has gone on to release one other studio album with Jack's Mannequin titled The Glass Passenger, toured with the likes of The Fray and Weezer, released the documentary "Dear Jack" which followed his treatment and recovery from leukemia, and is now prepping to release People and Things, his third studio album (Summer 2011).

Even though we arrive a bit late we were able to get spots near enough to see the band. The sound quality was also very good.

Jack's Mannequin was amazing, sung and played just as record sounds, but even better because it was live and in your face! venue was beautiful, bridge in the background, sunset, planes flying overhead, full moon. perfect weather and amazing music

    Jack's was the best!!

by GTgirl3 on 8/29/11Chastain Park Amphitheatre ASO - Atlanta

This was such an amazing show. I love Chastain Park and the band was amazing for an outdoor venue. Jack's Mannequin was great and Guster was fabulous. They played so well and made for an unforgettable night. The opening band, Lady Danville, was great and made the mood of the venue relaxing.

    Guster was amazing!

Great show and venue overall! It was interesting to see all the younger kids clear out after Jack's Mannequin and the floor filled up with the decade or two older Guster crowd.

    I love Jack's Mannequin

Jack's Mannequin is great! A must see show! Andrew McMahon is a great band leader, jams on the piano and really gets into the show. The playlist included all of my favorite songs and I was glad to hear some new tunes from their upcoming album.

This concert was the best night ever.

by guins44 on 8/26/11Chastain Park Amphitheatre ASO - Atlanta

First of all, the opening act of Lady Danville was amazing. Then to hear Jack's Mannequin live was incredible. I had never heard Guster before, but I am a total fan now. The acoustics in the amphitheater were great as well. I loved this concert.

Guster always impresses in concert. They're a great band to see live. Everytime I've seen them it sounds like I could be listening to their album.

    FANTASTIC!

by alibali13 on 8/26/11The Ritz Ybor - Tampa

One of the best shows I've been to. The venue it was held it was quite small so I was able to be really close to the stage. The opener for the two bands Jack's Mannequin/Guster was Lady Danville which I had seen open for Jack's once before and they are as talented as the real show. All-in-all the show was amazing!!!

    Andrew never ceases to amaze!

by WatchTheSky on 8/25/11The Ritz Ybor - Tampa

This was my third Jack's Mannequin concert and Andrew's talented piano-playing mixed with his absolute focus to put on a show for his fans is the best! The opening act Lady Danville was really good, too. I usually am not a fan of most openers, but they were good enough to convince me to buy a CD! :D

Guster & Jack's Mannequin show was fantastic!!

by GusterGeek on 8/25/11The Ritz Ybor - Tampa

Opening band Lady Danville was refreshingly good. I'd never seen Jack's Mannequin before, but bought their cd bundle & T-shirt - they were that good. Guster never dissapoints and played all my favorite songs. Loved Ryan wearing the disco ball on his head for "This is how it feels to have a broken heart". They were just awesome.

Andrew and Jack's Mannequin were awesome

by allbeit on 8/25/11The Ritz Ybor - Tampa

We have seen Guster twice before with Jukebox the Ghost so they were no suprise and always put on a good show. But Jack's Mannequin was so good. The amazing thing is that they sound as good or better live than they do on their recordings. The only problem is that they should have played longer and come out for an encore. Andrew if you read this you should come out at least one time for an encore.

Awesome show from all 3 bands!

by Anfmusicgrl on 8/25/11The Ritz Ybor - Tampa

Jack's Mannequin was amazing, Guster was wonderful, but most surprisingly the opener "Lady Danville" was captivating! Catchy melodies, clever lyrics, and beautiful harmonies, I was an instant fan, as were many others! What an awesome show, at a great price!

    Guster and Jack's Mannequin

by GusterFanSince2001 on 8/25/11The Ritz Ybor - Tampa

If I had to sum the concert up in 1 word it would be PHENOMINAL! I have seen Guster twice before and they were great. This was my first time seeing Jack's Mannequin (have previously seen Something Corporate), and they did an awesome job as well. The encore was especially sweet when Andrew from Jack's Mannequin came out and performed several songs with Guster. Couldn't have asked for a better show!

Great show, with both acts rocking

by Motorcycle21 on 8/25/11The Ritz Ybor - Tampa

I've been listening to Jack's Mannequin since 2006, but had seen Andrew McMahon with Something Corporate in the same Ybor City venue in 2003. He rocked then, and he didn't disappoint either as Jack's Mannequin. Played all the hits, some great new stuff from the upcoming third album, plus, never had heard of Guster, but they were a pleasant surprise and fun to watch, too.

Guster was awesome as usual/ Jack's Mannequin NOT!

by ALM913 on 8/23/11Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Guster was awesome and fluid as usual. Was my 6th show and never get tired of them. I wish Guster had performed before Jack's Mannequin. Then I wouldn't have had to have felt tortured and could have left early. Didn't know anything about Jack's Mannequin going in. They would start off with a really nice melodic intro and break into I don't know what. Nothing gelled - I just didn't get it and I love all music. Lady Danville - never heard of either - could definitely see the Guster influence yet they had their own thing going. Really enjoyable!
