Guitars and Saxes Are The Bomb Whomever is Playing

by heavydcleveland on 9/11/10Fraze Pavilion - Kettering

Guitars and Saxes are The Bomb, whomever is playing. I just love these guys. Gerald, Peter and Kirk were an added bonus. I saw Guitars and Saxes in Houston, with Euge Groove, Jessy J and Jeff Lorber were excellent also.

Guitars & Saxes was the truth!!!

    by Jazzy614 on 8/23/10Fraze Pavilion - Kettering

The entire concert from start to finish was a class act. I loved the comradery between Jeff, Peter, Kirk & Gerald you could see the mutual respect for each other that they had musically and as friends. I loved how they each did their own thing and then came back together as a group. It was just awesome! Fraze Pavillion is my new favorite outdoor venue for a concert, it was very clean and the all the workers were very courteous and helpful. Everything that you would need during the show (drinks, food or restroom) was in close proximity to your seat. No fifty cent tours!!!! This was one of my favorite concert's of the year.

Gerald Albright is a MANIAC on the sax!

by msdelightful on 8/21/10Pepsi Skyline Stage At Navy Pier - Chicago

Peter was his usual entertaining self. I love Jeff and Kirk. They are forever giving you your money's worth and then some. All of the musicians left us wanting more! It's been some years since we've been able to enjoy a concert @ the Skyline.

    A superb blend

by hcsmooth on 8/21/10Pepsi Skyline Stage At Navy Pier - Chicago

I have seen all theese artists on numerous occaisions. They have always given of themselves when performing. This group of artists were superb in blending their instruments inside the genre. I hope to see more and different combinations That give the audience the smooth jazz experience.

    Great show

by Lovejazz on 8/19/10Fraze Pavilion - Kettering

I love the Fraze & wish it was in my hometown. The show was fabulous and so was the weather. Peter White was a good complement to the more "outgoing" on stage presence of Gerald Allbright and Kirk Whallum......and of course the music was wonderful !

    Guitars and Saxes

Both the show and the venue were outstanding. I wish it would have lasted at least another half hour.

Guitars and Saxes was the best!!

by Maurice8042 on 8/18/10Pepsi Skyline Stage At Navy Pier - Chicago

Excellent show, as usual. Gerald Albright is always outstanding. Kirk Whalum was exciting to see in person and very enjoyable. Peter White and Jeff Golub never fail to entertain. Puth them all together, backed by an incredible rhythm section, and you've got one hell of a smokin' show!!!

    Guitars and Saxes were fantastic!

by Jazzkats on 8/17/10Pepsi Skyline Stage At Navy Pier - Chicago

Really enjoyed the concert at Skyline Stage in Chicago. The venue is awesome and loved Guitars and Saxes. I am very familiar with the music of Jeff Golub and Peter White, and have seen them in concert many times. They are always impressive. I've only seen Kirk Whalem once before and I think he has grown as an artist. This was the first time to see Gerald Albright and I was pleasantly surprised at his musical ability and showmanship. If they come back to Chicago, I will be there.

guitars and saxes was the bomb!

    by 1butch1 on 8/17/10Fraze Pavilion - Kettering

When you have so many stars on the stage at once, you begin to wonder how they will share the spotlight. It was done very tastfully. Each one had an opportunity to shine. Each star also got an opportunity to play their favorite hits that made them famous. There was a threat of rain for the evening, but the weather cooperated and it turned out to be a fantastic evening for the concert. The Fraze is an excellent place to hold events; there really are no bad seats. Additionally, all events held at the Fraze are very organized.
