GRiZ in Concert
One of the leading independent artists in electronic music today, GRiZ is the Detroit-born, Denver-based multifaceted artist who's funkin' up dance floors worldwide with his self-described future funk sound, which mixes electronic music with his fiery live saxophone, energetic funk, and sweeping electro-soul.
Following a full year of self-reflection and creative development, GRiZ returns with ‘Ride Waves,' his new self-released album due out April 5, 2019. As his most creatively ambitious and most personal project to date, the 14-track album features collaborations with major artists like Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Matisyahu, DRAM, and Bootsy Collins and sees the producer taking his sound toward uncharted territories in hip-hop, pop, and dance music, all while keeping the funky GRiZ sound intact. The album follows his breakout album ‘Good Will Prevail' (September 2016), which debuted at #1 on the iTunes Electronic chart and charted on the Billboard 200 chart.
GRiZ's live shows, which mix improvised saxophone, guitar, and vocals and include the 15-piece GRiZ Live Band, have become massive draws around the world. In addition to mainstage performances at major festivals such as Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Outside Lands, as well as headlining sets at Electric Forest and Lightning in a Bottle, GRiZ has headlined and sold out Denver's legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre for four consecutive years. www.mynameisgriz.com
Enjoyed my first rave concert. Had a great time now going to more around Michigan.
This event changed my life. The staff was excellent, and I think everybody I interacted with was having an amazing time. The only thinG that could've been improved was the experience leaving the event. It took longer than expected / desired to get everyone out of the show after it ended
The best thing that has ever happened to me! GRiz killed it, an amazing set. I wanna relive it again and again
Not only is was the Masonic Temple one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen, but the show was breath taking. Odesza was simply captivating, and Griz was mind blowing! Everything about it..no words. Thank you for being true artist!
Grizmas was the best event at masonic temple and his best show yet! =)
If you ever get the chance to see griz or Odesza live take it!!
The first two acts were quality but definitely just openers, nothing special, then Odesza came out and brought the energy of the event up very nicely with their synthy trance music and high energy beats. Very good show up until there. As soo as GRiZ came out he came out strong, this is where the night turned from very good to incredible. He was able to keep the energy at a good level even at its lowest times and would read the crowd and bring it back up with some of his incredible saxophone playing or even just the bass heavy drops he had in store for us. Wonderful experience, he made it a very friendly concert and everyone got along and enjoyed it greatly.
There are no words. This was without a doubt the most fun I've ever had at a show (and I've been to many country, EDM, hip hop, all of it).
The band that opened the night Gosh Pith was soooooo amazing they really set the night off right and then Griz perfectly finished the night off was sick tunes to move to
Best Griz set I have seen. He layed it down. I've seen him 7 times and this was the best one by far. Was first row balcony which I think is the best spot at the masonic. More room to get down
This was my son's first concert. He went with his brother and friends and had the time of his life. Best Christmas present ever!
Great performer and artist. Followed him since college and every time I see him it's better than the last. My favorite shows Bassnectar followed by Griz. The FUNK!
One of the best concerts I have ever seen. Great show, great venue.
If there was any guy who could bring more energy to a stage than GRiZ his heart might explode. Amazing atmosphere and set, blew my lofty expectations out of the water.
I love griz so much but his Atl show was way too dubby and gave me a headache. He's so much better than that and I don't think it was a good representation of his music. I wish he would get back to the pretty lights sounding style. Less dubstep (getting old) and more funky, fresh beats.
I'm a huge fan if griz but was disappointed with his performance in ATL. He's so talented and he dumbed his show down by playing too much hard dubstep. I wish he would have stuck to the funky beats he's known for and less of the annoying dub.
Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait till I get to see him again!!
The Floozies rocked, Pegboard Nerds brought it up a notch, and then GRiZ brought it all together - and brought it down! The crowd was great - super chill (mostly 18+) people. Good times!
Griz is a treat live, as he always is. Solid light and visual show which is only trumped by his complex take on electronic music which includes his live sax playing in the mix.
Had so much fun! Thx Ticketmaster! Will def have to go again!
