GRiZ in Concert
One of the leading independent artists in electronic music today, GRiZ is the Detroit-born, Denver-based multifaceted artist who's funkin' up dance floors worldwide with his self-described future funk sound, which mixes electronic music with his fiery live saxophone, energetic funk, and sweeping electro-soul.
Following a full year of self-reflection and creative development, GRiZ returns with ‘Ride Waves,' his new self-released album due out April 5, 2019. As his most creatively ambitious and most personal project to date, the 14-track album features collaborations with major artists like Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Matisyahu, DRAM, and Bootsy Collins and sees the producer taking his sound toward uncharted territories in hip-hop, pop, and dance music, all while keeping the funky GRiZ sound intact. The album follows his breakout album ‘Good Will Prevail' (September 2016), which debuted at #1 on the iTunes Electronic chart and charted on the Billboard 200 chart.
GRiZ's live shows, which mix improvised saxophone, guitar, and vocals and include the 15-piece GRiZ Live Band, have become massive draws around the world. In addition to mainstage performances at major festivals such as Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Outside Lands, as well as headlining sets at Electric Forest and Lightning in a Bottle, GRiZ has headlined and sold out Denver's legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre for four consecutive years. www.mynameisgriz.com

Excellent Show, Danced the entire time! Played songs from Mad Liberation and Rebel Era
I was very impressed by the service at the Tabernacle. Never had to wait in line for anything. They music and the vibe was great there that night.
Griz absolutely blew me away. The production was on point, the sound was perfect, and he got the crowd into it from start to finish. He is one of my favorite performers and he reminded me why. I would recommend griz to anyone!
Griz truly blew me away. I've been to many shows and this still goes in the top 5. His energy is amazing & every single person gets swept up in his performance. I can't say enough good about him & the All Good Records crew. The Pageant was also an amazing venue to experience. I'm not a fan of the 16+ age thing, but they do an amazing job of section off the crowd while still providing an intimate feel of being so close to the performer. I highly reccomend this venue. It was overall an unforgettable time.
The tickets I bought said the show started at 7:30, but the first DJ was already playing when we got there. The second 'band' played for wayyyyy too long . A lot of people around me were complaining. I've got mad respect for them, but they could've easily cut it 30min shorter. GRiz was amazing. His setup went perfect with his music. The only thing I could complain about would be it stretched on a little too long, maybe it felt that way since GRiz didn't come on until 9:45-10:00 or so. Overall, an alright experience.
Griz was absolutely unforgettable !! He rocked the entire place and was a beauty on the sax!!!
Recently, I went to GRiZ in Chicago at the Aragon Ballroom. He put on a unforgettable show in a beautiful venue. I would definitely recommended going if you like to get down and share good vibes with others. The crowd was just radiating with happiness and excitement. Any chance I get, I will go to his shows.
He was on fire from the second he came out on stage to the second he left. The whole night was unforgettable. I want to march out of every show chanting "We Are The Champions" with my fist in the air like I did that night.
He never ceases to amaze me along with exmag. The only complaint I could give is how awful the Aragon ballroom sound system is. It was hard to hear griz's set and the first three people that performed were impossible to hear. Besides that griz blew me away with his saxophone talent and the lights and disco ball really brought everything to a 5 star show!
Griz put on an amazing sold out show in one of my favorite venues. Great music, Great friends, Great time.
GriZ put on an absolutely riveting performance. He does a wonderful job of pulling music from all genres together to deliver a unique sound that is unmatched in the industry.
Talented artist. Had everyone dancing all night! Good vibes
Awesome show. setup was amazing and beats are killer. Go again
It was an amazing experience! Just don't wear shoes or clothes that you are about..
The venue is great, the people in there were great (mostly underage, though, but I don't care), and GRiZ makes amazing music. Recommended.
Everyone was dancing and getting down to the funk.
Griz is the dopest...dropped a lot stuff from his new album, woulda enjoyed some more west coast hip hop samples, but at this point im just spoiled by his talents
Griz always does it right. This show was amazing would go see them again tommorrow if I could.
I say what a night because there was a lot that could've gotten to me and the person I was with especially. I had pulled a good amount of strings to get this planned and get her to go, and it was her first electronic music experience. So we got ready and everything, and right when we got out of the car, we found ourselves waiting in a line. That was not moving. It was already 9:30 or so when we got in line and we didn't get in until around 10:30. You think that they could do something differently as far as the whole getting in process goes. Then what is the deal with openers that play forever? Back in the day, electronic openers would play a couple songs and then head out, and it'd be cool. You'd know who the artist was and remember them fondly. Instead, I feel like openers are having incredibly long performances, longer then I would stay to watch the main act. So then we get to the main act. At 11:20. For a show that started at 8:00. Yes, Griz was good, and he put on a killer show, because he's my favorite. This was the second night I had seen him in a row (third time total). He did some really great live mixing and he is definitely an artist to see once in your lifetime at least. I'm a huge fan, and was not planning on giving up, unless there was a considerable reason to, but, in the end, we could only see a little of it because we had driven an hour to get there. I say what a night because I ended up doing a lot myself to salvage this night, and especially make it memorable and comfortable for my first-time companion. I thought that was the job of the theater. I work in a theater. And that's my job.
