    Awesome lineup

by LKS on 4/9/24Grind City Amphitheater - Memphis

Fantastic bands and perfect weather made it a great experience and value for the expense. Cozy venue, felt like exclusive access to amazing artists. Helpful info about what to expect and parking gave attendees a heads-up. Fest had a great concept, but some food trucks were too slow and 30-min wait was frustrating. Sound was an issue as lead microphone seemed to go in and out.

    Grindcity Music Festival

by Bert on 4/9/24Grind City Amphitheater - Memphis

Overall it was a great experience. The music lineup was fantastic, the venue is very cool, and generally it was a great atmosphere. One major drawback was the drink offerings. Grindcity only offered their beer, which is marginal at best. Mixed drinks or at a minimum canned drinks such as high noon are really needed. The girls especially grew tired of the three beer choices and the Moscow mule offered was really terrible.

Great Lineup just a few suggestions

by allyb on 4/9/24Grind City Amphitheater - Memphis

The music was fantastic, great performances. However, wish the GA area had more a lounge areas for people in the back or have the ability to bring in/rent lawn chairs. The water station was broken every time I went to get a cup of water, so possible add more water stations spread through out viewing area. Beautiful venue, great line up, just suggestions to make it better.

    It was a great time!

by Sj on 4/8/24Grind City Amphitheater - Memphis

The venue is a really cool spot! There is a good view of downtown Memphis. The stage and sound were top notch, as was the line-up! My hat is off to the people at Grind City Brewing Co. For putting on such a great event!

    Poor parkingoptions,

by Rebeldad on 4/8/24Grind City Amphitheater - Memphis

We had a 2 day pass, to the festival and had a great time Friday night. Couldn't find a safe parking option on Saturday night, so we went back home. There needs to be secure parking in that area, especially with so many people hear from out of town. Will go again and just get there earlier. I don't think they were prepared for the number of festival goers.

    Great Fun

by MickeysMojo on 9/22/22Grind City Brewing Co - Memphis

In spite of very hot temperatures and high humidity, we had so much fun at the Grind City Fest. They had very talented bands playing throughout the afternoon and evening we were there. Plus, there were food trucks offering outstanding grub. I'm so glad I bought VIP tickets, since they allowed us to use inside restrooms, drink delectable beer inside the air-conditioned brewery, and park in a strategically advantageous spot. Our favorite group was Here Come the Mummies. I hope they return to next year's Grind City Fest, since we intend to be there.

    Good Music... Bad Mosquitos

by Heath on 8/30/22Grind City Brewing Co - Memphis

Middle bands were ok, Headliners were spot on. If you can spray for mosquitos a little more thoroughly, that would be good, no one likes to get bit up. Beer lines were on the edge of being annoying.

    Great Inaugural Night

by Seerant on 8/29/22Grind City Brewing Co - Memphis

I went solo and had a blast. Felt safe the whole time, even walking back to my car. Beer lines were not excessively long, and can we talk about the Mummies? Oh. My. Goodness. The bluegrass from the Traveling McCourys and the Stringdusters was phenomenal. I didn’t go back the second night, but that had nothing to do with the quality of the Friday night experience. Can’t wait for the next festival at this venue!

Great event but way over priced food and beer.

by 1 thought on 8/29/22Grind City Brewing Co - Memphis

The setting was great. The music was AWESOME! Things to make it 5 star. 1. Allow festival/ bag chairs. 2. provide hydration stations. It was very hot. 3 Food and drinks need to be more reasonable. 10 bucks for a solo cup of beer is crazy!

Good experience that can get better

by Mitch on 8/29/22Grind City Brewing Co - Memphis

Overall, I had a great time. The venue really looked great and the music was fantastic. My two complaints are: 1) the beer lines were ridiculously long considering we were at a brewery; and 2) there was no water bottle fill stations. The beer lines is a relatively minor but annoying issue. The lack of water stations must be addressed at any subsequent events. Overall, it was a fun event and proof of concept that live music productions can be a blast at Grind City Brewing. Can’t wait to see future events and how they improve an already nice setup.

    Grinding It Out

by MickeysMojo on 8/29/22Grind City Brewing Co - Memphis

The Grind City Fest was fantastic!! We bought the VIP tickets, and it was definitely worth the extra cost. There was great parking in the VIP area, plus no waiting in line for entry. We could drink beer in the air-conditioned brewery. Outside, there were beer stations for everybody, but the VIP line was waaaaaay shorter. The VIP section next to the stage gave us an excellent view of the bands. We went to the festival expecting to hear bluegrass and blues music. The bonus performance was Here Come the Mummies. What a magnificent, funky show they gave the crowd! Since this was the inaugural festival, I was impressed with how smoothly everything ran. It appears that Grind City Brewing and their partners know how to put on a successful festival.
