    Terrible Advertisement & Poor Coordinating

by Memphis Alum on 4/10/24Grind City Amphitheater - Memphis

Very poorly coordinated! Alcohol choices were horrible as well! No common (domestic beer), no hard liquor or mixed drinks of any kind! I tried every beer from Grind City Brewery and all were terrible! We stayed 30 mins and went back to our air bnb in which we wasted money on as well plus the ticket prices for the event! It was a discouraging weekend that’s for sure!

    Overall great festival

by Caitlin on 4/9/24Grind City Amphitheater - Memphis

The music was awesome! I loved the choice of artists. The vendors were great! We loved that ounce of hope was there (they kind of saved the day for me!). Grind city beers are great but if they aren’t your thing and you’re more of a seltzer person there was only one option and it wasn’t my style (total personal preference!) ounce of hope had a cbd seltzer that was delicious! The other down side was that you couldn’t bring chairs, sitting on the ground even with a blanket can get a little uncomfortable.

    This was a GREAT time

by Lynn on 4/9/24Grind City Amphitheater - Memphis

Great festival. Not as large as others but with ALL the great acts. Whiskey Myers NEVER disappoints. I honestly don't know how I was lucky enough to see them at such a small festival. The grounds are spacious. There was an abundance of porta-lets and free water. There were plenty of food vendors. The beer and seltzers were all Grind City products. If you wanted a mixed drink that was the only drawback. I am already planning on going again next year.

    Good music, horrible venue

by Volatic on 4/9/24Grind City Amphitheater - Memphis

First the parking is in the ghetto.. saw tons of broken glass from all of the vehicle windows broken the night before. The drink choices were bad.. beer was terrible. Wife had to drink water as there was no wine or anything other than beer to choose from. Bands were good but would never go back to this as location is sketchy. Uber was only safe option

The strictly IPA vibes could never compare!

by Sarah on 4/9/24Grind City Amphitheater - Memphis

WOW. Seriously such an amazing experience and such a cute venue!!! I loved that it was outdoors and the weather was perfect! My only complaint is that the only alcohol was IPAs (but I also understand why.) Ole 60 and Red Clay Strays were amazing acts and I’m so glad GCF pulled it off!

    Great crowd and lineup.

by Billy on 4/9/24Grind City Amphitheater - Memphis

I thought this venue was in a good location with a good lineup of artists. There were a few artists that were out of place for the genre that was being advertised. The sound was good in front of the sound booth, but was very bassy and muffled behind the booth. This is normal in most cases. But the main VIP area was well behind the sound booth, so there were very few seats in the VIP area with a view of the stage and the sound there was not great. There was another VIP area with standing room only to the right of the stage with good sound and decent viewing. The main perk of the VIP tickets was solely the restroom availability. Other than that, I saw no advantage to the VIP tickets. The staff was very friendly and there no long lines that I encountered at any of the vending areas or merch tables. The weather was perfect for an outdoor festival. It wasn't too hot but warm enough to be comfortable in a hoodie in the evenings. This is a new festival and just starting to grow. I think they'll continue to improve with time and look forward to attending again in the future. I don't drink a lot of beer anymore and even less micro brews. But I will say this brewery had several choices of beer on tap that I enjoyed and the food vendors were excellent.

Best venue with the worst beer

by Asdfgjk on 4/9/24Grind City Amphitheater - Memphis

Venue was great. Lineup was great. Beer was so so bad. Initial flyer stated there would be a full bar- nope. Also stated camelbacks would be allowed- nope. Water station was filthy. The beer is just so bad it takes away from the great job that they’ve done with the venue and lineup. Next go round- PLEASE add other drinks. PLEASE.

    Incredible

by Ryan on 4/9/24Grind City Amphitheater - Memphis

Incredible event! The lineup was awesome, parking was a breeze and the set up was amazing! I can’t believe how nice it was for being put on by a brewery. It really was like a big time music festival! Looking forward to next year and will definitely get the VIP paces in order to have access to the brewery! 10 stars!!!

SO much fun! Red Clay Strays were great. This is a fun place to spend the day listening to live music. Well planned venue.
