As an Englishman who cherishes the gentlemanly spirit and local sports teams, witnessing soccer played on an American Football field has left me quite disheartened. The juxtaposition of our beloved game on such an unfamiliar terrain seems to clash with the essence of traditional soccer. It's a challenge to maintain the same fervor for the sport when the setting doesn't align with its rich heritage.

The yardage lines on the football field were very distracting as well all the other painted areas. Boundaries were not clear from the stands. The large stadium light had 4 burnt out, so part of the field was not lit well at all! Hubby is a big soccer fan and was really disappointed!
