Rating: 4 out of 5by Kenster66 on 5/9/10Westover Church - Greensboro Rating: 5 out of 5 Wonderful talent and facilities
by sugarft on 5/9/10Westover Church - GreensboroThe wonderful talent was enhanced immensly by the sound system, the added lighting features with backdrops and the talented camera shots. The soloists made it an uplifting, fun evening for all of us. And as always the director lived up to our expectations of providing a great program.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Excellent performance
by camelcity on 3/28/10Dana Auditorium - Guilford College - GreensboroI was worried that the young ages of the guest performers might mean that their playing might not be up to par, but my worries were completely unfounded. The symphony and guests played very well, at times brilliantly. The program was strong, and despite being a bit long, was very well paced, and kept the audience's interest. Dana Auditorium's acoustics were fairly well suited for the French fare.
Rating: 5 out of 5 A Totally Fabulous Performance
by gwalt on 3/27/10Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroThe symphony performed like one would expect a fine first-class international orchestra and each of the three young soloists was amazing. In particular, the violinist, Stefani Collins, performed superbly. Her selections were totally virtuosic and she demonstrated the ability to perform like a seasoned virtuoso!! My congratulations to all!

Rating: 5 out of 5 "Time for Three" puts on incredible show!
by TfTfans on 1/25/10UNCG Recital Hall - GreensboroAlthough I had heard such good things about this group, I was still unprepared for how much I would enjoy this concert. Although the vast majority of the audience was adults, I took two third grader(who both play the violin) and they were absolutely blown away by the concert. It is so easy to get drawn into the excitement on stage and the joy with which these musicians play is infectious. Clearly this group's music transcends generations and I am incredibly grateful that I could expose these young girls to a concert which will inspire their muscial efforts as these young girls certainly represent the upcoming generation of music lovers. This was one of the best concerts I have attended. I hope to see them re-booked year after year. Bravo to the guys in "Time for Three"!
Rating: 5 out of 5 Brilliant!
by Anonymous on 1/23/10UNCG Recital Hall - GreensboroIt's was memorizing listening to a group so unique in their musical style- using violins and a bass to present classical, jazz, rock, hip hop, and blue grass. Very friendly with the audience and interactive.
Rating: 3 out of 5by Anonymous on 1/1/10Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro The performance (especially from the singers) seemed to lack a certain Latino passion that I would expect from a salsa performance.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Jim Curry - Carolina Pops
by BethFmNC on 11/22/09Westover Church - GreensboroGreat show! John Denver's music is marvelous for the soul. Jim Curry did thesongs justice and the orchestra back-up added greatly to the pleasure of John's poetry. Thanks for this great concert!
Rating: 4 out of 5 good concert
by SewFan on 11/22/09Westover Church - Greensborothe lyrics of John Denver's songs are poems. I forgot how beautiful they are. Jim Curry and company have the sound down perfectly. Greensboro Symphony Pops was excellent. The auditorium at Westover was ideal: sound and video was wonderful.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Reincarnation?
by golfingwillie on 11/22/09Westover Church - GreensboroThe Jim Curry concert with the Carolina Pops was excellent. I was impressed with the quality of the orchestra and the way they accompanied Mr. Curry and his group with litte practice. Having seen John Denver in concert in the 1990's, I was prepared to be disappointed. I came away very satisfied. The music was right on, and Mr. Curry's voice was strong John Denver. I closed my eyes, and it took me back to my earlier concert. My only hang up was that Mr. Curry tried a little too hard to recreate John Denver in his dress and mannerisms. The music was good enough to stand on its own.

Rating: 4 out of 5 Westover Church a great venue
by Fairway on 11/22/09Westover Church - GreensboroWe thoroughly enjoyed Jim Curry and company. I was totally impressed with Westover Church. Never been to that church and thought from the parking to the filming of the orchestra was well done. We got to watch on the big screens the intrumentalist. Normally we can only see the front row. I would have liked to purchase Jim's CD but we exited to the right rear of the auditorium and there were no tables set up to purchase in that area or as we exited through the lobby. We will watch for events at Westover Church and buy tickets.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Jim Curry 's music was Denver himself
by perperperper on 11/22/09Westover Church - GreensboroA trip back in time. A wonderul tribute to a wonderful time of life with John Denver's music.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Jim Curry and Carolina Pops were OUTSTANDING!
by BobtheEngineer on 11/22/09Westover Church - GreensboroThe tribute to John Denver was spectacular. I loved it, and so did my 20-something daughter and daughter in law. It's good for the old John Denver fans, and the future fans. If they come back, I would see it every time.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Carolina Pops and Jim Curry- A great mixture
by Radman58 on 11/22/09Westover Church - GreensboroWhat a great tribute to the legendary John Denver. Jim Curry, backed by the Carolina Pops Orchestra was just outstanding. Jim not only brought his music and singing tribute of John Denver, he brought many wonderful insights into John Denver that not many people knew. And to have three of John Denver's original band members along was added delight. Jim's singing of "Annie Song" was just spectacular. Bruce Keseling's direction of the Carolina Pops Symphony was great. From " Rocky Mountain" High to "I'm Just a Country Boy" was great. I highly recommend Jim Curry. If he could only sing a bit more. The audience wanted more.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Saturday's concert at Guilford College
