Green Bay Packers History
The Green Bay Packers were founded in 1919 by Indian Packing Company employee Earl "Curly" Lambeau and newspaperman George Whitney Calhoun. The Packers were an immediate success and were admitted to the American Professional Football Association in 1921, a predecessor to the NFL.
Under famed coach Vince Lombardi, the Packers dominated during the NFL's early years in the 1960s, winning the first two Super Bowl games with Hall of Fame players Bart Starr, Jim Taylor, Ray Nitschke, and Herb Adderley. The franchise saw renewed success throughout the 1990s and 2000s, including a victory at Super Bowl XXXI in 1997 under quarterback Brett Favre.
Succeeding quarterback Aaron Rodgers helped continue the Packers' reign of success, making the playoffs from 2009–2016 and a fourth championship at Super Bowl XLV in 2011. They have 33 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees, and are the only publicly-owned major sports franchise in the United States.

Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field
Lambeau Field, named after Packers co-founder Curly Lambeau, is located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. With a capacity of 81,441, the stadium can host almost 80 percent of the city's population. Sometimes nicknamed "The Frozen Tundra," Lambeau Field has been home to some unforgettable, snowy showdowns during its tenure as the longest continuously-used NFL venue. Furthermore, touchdowns are celebrated by the famous "Lambeau Leap," a tradition where players run out of the end zone and hop into the stands to rejoice with fans.

The Green Bay Packers have reached the Super Bowl championship five times and won the title four times (1967, 1968, 1997, and 2011). The Packers are one of 11 NFL teams to have appeared in the Super Bowl at least five times, and one of six NFL teams with at least four Super Bowl wins. The Packers also defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in the first-ever Super Bowl in 1967.
was lots of fun. don't let the cold fool you. great fans, great town, great time!!
Sold seats 21 and 22 for a standing section. Didn't realize until at the game and found the seats I bought don't exist!
Fans are awesome there. I went to use my ticket and when they scanned iit, they said it had already been used. Other than that the place is amazing.
So much fun on Christmas day at Lambeau seeing the Packers play Cleveland. I recommend the Bart Starr tailgate at the Resch Center and parking there also. Such a great deal!
It was a really cold night in Green Bay, WI. We enjoyed every minute of it. It was really easy to use Ticketmaster for our tickets to the game!
I purchased these tickets for my husband and two sons for Christmas. They were for standing only, but still worth it so that they could watch ARod play in case it is his last season. They had an awesome time and all came home with sore throats from yelling and cheering so loud. Just a great memory for them all to be able to share.
Everyone was friendly and helpful on our Green Bay experience. We were easily able to trade 2 tickets for handicapped seating. The handicapped parking was available and everyone inside the stadium was good to work with. I say best stadium anywhere!
The line was QUICK, and the crowd liud but not obnoxious l!!!!
Senile memory and first experience caused some delay that was searched through be on hand experts.
The experience was awesome. The food was excellent and the staff was helpful.
Nice experience for the most part... should have said to enter the stadium no less than 1 hour before kickoff. With all the checks and slow ticket scans you will not get into the game before kickoff.
Packers won on Christmas Day and made history the same day! Love it!
Love going to Lambeau but these seats were the worst ever. They were on a walkway coming out from the concourse. Everyone walks in front of you. Some were respectful and others would stop to find the seats on their phone. Or would just stop to look around. These rows should be a railing for the next row up and they would be great. But the extra seats help pay the inflated wages.
Didn’t disappoint bucket list worthy. Charming community big time NFL action
Our seats in section 100 row 23 were absolutely awful. They should be half priced because you barely see half the game. People are constantly up and walking and stopping in front of you. Will never buy these tickets again. We did not enjoy our time at the game for even a minute.
Everything about the storied history of the Green Bay Packers and Lambeau field is sensational. The difficult part was that no Covid precautions are enforced, especially mask wearing even indoors. The labor shortage must also have affected the staff at Lambeau field, as it took one hour to order food at the concession stand. The beer stations are self service and very efficient, however. Overall, of course I will go back to Lambeau field!
First time at Lambeau and it didn't disappoint. I finally checked it off my list of seeing the Bears play in WI. I will definitely be back!! Everyone, including the fans were super duper friendly
I always have a great time watching the Packers beat up on the Bears! The electronic ticket process was fast and efficient
Bucket list for all football fans. There is no place like Lambeau. During halftime, Paul Tagliabue was honored with his HOF ring. He said when he was asked what stadium he wanted to be presented with the award there was only one place…Lambeau Field!
Had a great time. First time at Lambeau, great fans, friendly customer service. A great experience. I will love to visit this stadium again.
