Grease sing a long was more fun than I expected. Everything including the actors were great.
Not exactly what i was expecting. After watching the entire movie. Yes, it was interactive but the movie could have been shortened we all have see it over and over. We didnt see Olivia and John until the VERY end of the night. Questions were good and answers were interesting but a long, long wait to see them..
The way the event ws marketed was as if ONJ and JT would be on stage singing with us, partially reenacting their famous roles. If I knew it was to watch a movie and then a Q&A, I wouldn't have paid $60 to go. To start the movie at 8pm and then have them come out that late on a Sunday was another bad idea. Needless to say, six of us went and we were all pissed about it.
This event was misrepresented. I paid a high dollar ticket for myself and 2 others. When the tickets first came available. I was under the influence of the information given that there was a meet and greet that would take place the 1st hour of the show. That was the purpose of the additional money per ticket. So I thought, the show was supposed to open at 7:00 for the special tickets. Well, come to find out we were put in a long line that did not let any one in until 6:45. I went to the ticket counter to see if there was another entrance for people that had these high priced tickets. I was mistaken, I was told that I had a regular ol ticket. So I go back in line. We went to our seats and they could not have been the worse place to sit. There was a concrete column that covered half of the stage. We were sitting in a section that sold for 50.00 to 75.00 per seat. As we sat and waited for this special meet and greet, finally 8:00 came around and we had to sit though t-birds. They were trying to rally every one up. As it continued, it was apparent that I got this al wrong. Daily’s has a terrible map for there seating. Sound was horrible. Needless to say it was not the evening that I was expecting. Won’t recommend the venue or this event.
I was under the expression that Olivia and John were gong to be on stage and singing with the movie, grease the sing a long. Nope, I paid a whole lot of money to watch a movie I have seen hundreds of times and afterward they come out sat on a couch and answered a few questions. Very very disappointing and way to much money for that.
The Meet 'N Grease was such a wonderful, fun event. It was one of the best nights of my life!!
One of the best experiences ever. The Q&A after the movie made the experience for us all
The atmosphere was wonderful. The people in costume and the music really set the mood. I cried twice out of pure happiness. It was a dream come true. Loved that the T-Birds were there too, what a bonus! Hearing John and Olivia sing live will never be forgotten
I had a great time watching the movie!! Wish more time was for Q and A with Olivia Newton John and John Travolta.
The show was perfect! Grease is such an incredible performance and to get to share the experience with John, Olivia, the T-birds and the Director was truly special.
We Loved seeing the movie on the big screen, and the goodie bag with all products to help make the movie interactive was great fun! would have liked more interaction with the cast, like them out on stage during the movie or them coming out before the movie more ! Not sure what the hold up was but it started well after 8 with no explanation!
Crowd was dressed up, many with Pink Ladies jackets and beauty school dropout outfits and fully engaged using the props handed out when we walked into the concert facility. Question and answer time was fun, would have enjoyed having Olivia and John sing a few songs from start to end. Definitely a fun experience, well worth the time and money!
Awesome show! I just wish I could have heard the questions and answers afterwards better
awesome show except the sound could have been better, it was a little hard to hear the questions and answers
The giant high resolution screen, the audio system, the closed captioning for all the songs, the movie packs, the original T Birds and John and Olivia , the Q&A and best of all John singing to Olivia and doing Greased Lightning with T Birds live after the movie all incredibly fun and exciting
There are few celebrities out there that I would love to meet or work with. Olivia Newton-John is one of those. The Meet and Grease in the VIP tent (snacks and soft drinks were appreciate) was surreal and I still can't believe that once I was introduced to John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John that my brain just shut down and was unable to say anything more than my name and where I come from. All-in-all, it was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I appreciate Olivia Newton-John making herself available to fans like this and to John Travolta who was obviously there taking care of her and doing a damn good job. It's clear to see that they have a very strong relationship with one another. Thank you, to both Olivia and John. I produce live, public programming as part of my job, so I take my hat off to the Live Nation people who put this program together. Lots of people involved and lots of many moving parts. They did a fantastic job with this trial event and I noticed the improvements in the Tampa program from the videos I saw of the West Palm Beach event. You really should take this to other parts of the country if Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta are willing and able.
As you walk in, they handed out bags to make the crowd really want to get involved, with a checkered flag for the race scene, the bubbles for Beauty School Dropout etc. The car from the film and other classic vehicles parked as you walked in. The movie had the lyrics for the songs, in case you had forgotten. Having the director and the actors on stage for Q&A and a little singing was the best part.
Was a little disappointed that we dudnt see tgem come intill the end, all that money spent to watch a movie
My digital ticket said 7:00pm,after about a two hour drive getting to the site about 5:30 we waited in line until around 6:30 for the gates to open then sat in our seats for over 2 1/2 hours for the show to start. The lady sitting next to me showed me her paper ticket that said gates open at 7:00pm not very consistent no where did my ticket say gates open at whatever. Olivia Newton John and John Travolta came out after the movie was shown and did a Q and A. We left after about 15 minutes into that because we still had a two hour ride home. Very disappointed,
