I took a 5 and 2 year old to see the junior company performing mini-fairy tales and Bolero and my girls LOVED it... they were mesmerized! The dancers did great... they have fantastic talent! The crowd was filled with families... it was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon with my girls. They are already asking to see the next show... I'd highly recommend it.
Once again the GR Jr. Ballet did not disappoint. Peter Pan was a hit! Very well done!I have been introducing my 5 year old to the ballet througb familiar stories like Snow White and Cinderella and now Peter Pan. It has been a great success and she always leaves the theatre twirling and asking when we can come back. I particularly enjoy the Jr. Company ballets as those are a nice length, not too short and not too long for the little ones like my daughter. The price is great too.

I enjoyed every scene of the Grand Rapids ballet school Junior Company production of Snow White. So did my 9 year old grandson! Great Job!
Despite their age; their dedication to the craft of ballet is obvious and it is a pleasure to see. Several times throughout the performance I forgot that I wasn't watching professionals. Highly recommend seeing the Grand Rapids Ballet Junior squad.
The junior ballet company has a new fan. These young dancers were awesome. The show was flawless from scene to scene and they told the story fabulously. I will defiantly be checking out more shows!
The queen stole the show with amazing acting skills. The rest of the cast was wonderful too. Great choreography, story, skill and acting. I forgot I was watching a junior performance. The best ballet I've ever seen. My four year old daughter said she wanted to see it again within minutes of it ending. I have to admit I wanted to as well. Bravo!
Absolutely fantastic. Took my 3 1/2 year old daugther to this, and she loved it. The length, and the venue are great for families, especially families of little ones. More dressed up than I would have expected. Lasted an hour, then we were able to meet the dancers at the end.
I brought my daughter to this ballet and she was in awe the entire time! Her favorite "character" was the Evil Queen!! The venue was perfect and quaint. We were in the third row and could see everything. Even the dancers feet!
I cannot believe how wonderfully collaborated the major arts presented themselves at this performance! That could not have been a simple task, but they made it appear effortless! Words cannot express my admiration for the show!!!!

Spooktacular was my first ever ballet. A student in my class performed, so I thought I'd show my support and attend. I loved it so much that I'm looking into season tickets! The performance was captivating and professional. I am looking forward to the Nutcracker!
The cast did an excellent job on the show for having such little time to get it together. Thought it truly amazing that someone could have an idea in their head, and five weeks later it be up on the stage for all to see.
I hadn't been to the ballet in awhile, but attended this Junior Company production because a former student's son was performing. What a treat! The music and costumes were amazing. I especially liked Gomez (Benjamin Waldvogel), the Martians (choreography and costumes), and Dracula (Patrick Lennon)!
Every performance that I've seen with these young dancers has been AMAZING! What a great group of dancers and entertainers. I will go to see all of there shows and my kids loved it.
The Grand Rapids Ballet has done it again. They brought the story to life with the level of creativity I've become accustomed to. Bravo!!
What a wonderful program! The characters from childhood nursery rhymes brought alive on stage were so entertaining for adults and children alike. I brought my 3 year old granddaughter (her very first ballet) and she was enthralled throughout the entire program. The dancers are quite talented. Bravo to the Grand Rapids Ballet Junior Company/!
Took my two girls to watch the production by the Grand Rapids Ballet Jr Company. They absolutely loved it. The production was awesome and well planned. I am thinking about taking the girls back to the Clara's Nutcracker party!
Fantastic production with some very talented students. Professionally put together and entertaining for all ages. Superb, bravo!
