Goose released their debut album in 2016 and quickly took flight, playing countless shows while steadily amassing a fervent fan following for their unique brand of irresistible songcraft, fluid musicianship, and spirited improvisational performance. 2022 proved a career-defining year for the Connecticut-based quintet with their critically acclaimed third studio album, Dripfield. Fueled by such hypnotic tracks as "Hungersite" (which spent multiple weeks among the top 10 at Triple A radio outlets nationwide), the album proved a phenomenon, debuting at #2 on Billboard's "Top New Artist Albums" chart amidst critical applause from such national outlets as Rolling Stone, which hailed it as "both sweet headphone ear candy and the foundation for a perfect live peak."
Known for their exuberant grooves and incendiary bursts of musical exploration, Goose has spent much of the past decade on a seemingly infinite tour schedule that includes sold-out headline shows at such renowned venues as Morrison, CO's Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Nashville, TN's Ryman Auditorium, and New York City's hallowed Radio City Music Hall; a sold-out co-headline run alongside Trey Anastasio Band; a sold-out EU/UK headline tour, and show-stealing appearances at such festivals as Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Austin City Limits Music Festival, Newport Folk Festival, Electric Forest, and Dead & Company's Playing In The Sand in Riviera Cancun, MX. Recent highlights also include a sold-out, five-night run at Port Chester, NY's historic Capitol Theater and 2023's 10th annual Goosemas holiday celebration at Hampton, VA's famed Hampton Coliseum, as well as TV performances on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and CBS Saturday Morning.
Goose are: Rick Mitarotonda (vocals, guitar), Peter Anspach (vocals, keys, guitar), Trevor Weekz (bass), Jeff Arevalo (vocals, percussion, drums) and Cotter Ellis (drums).

Been seeing jam bands since the late eighties. These guys are really good! Highly recommend.
I can’t express how amazing this show was. Both me and my wife are still raving about it to our friends and family, can’t wait for the next goose show. We’ll be traveling to see them. Thanks
Enjoyed the experimentation of the music and lighting! Had Goose bumps!
Goose is an epic carpet ride you don’t want to ever get off. Some group them with the jam band scene which I understand, but I group them with the fun eccentric improvisational bands of the 1970s. Strong Deodato vibes on some songs but then you remember it’s 2022 and you’re experiencing this band live now in this century. Don’t pass up an opportunity to see this band live, even if you have to drive or fly. They are an experience you don’t want to miss. The evening is full of adrenaline pumped out from every single instrument used up on that stage. Already have 3 more shows booked and can’t wait for even more. Love ya goose!!!
These guys are super-fun! Been waiting a few years to see them, but definitely worth the wait. Go see Goose!
My friend brought me to this concert, I had no expectations going in, and then boom. Goose took me on the ride of my life. They are somehow one step beyond a jam band, each song feels like a ride of its own. The music is genius and the lighting is top of its class. This may be the greatest live band of our generation and I hope I get to continue to see them in small venues like Neptune in the near future. The Goose is Loose!!!
Live music doesn’t get any better than this. Incredible energy and chemistry within the band.
I roamed the venue front, sides and back. The sound was terrible everywhere I went, including my VIO table balcony front center. The bass was so overwhelming and muddy that it ruined the show. Down the left front side the bass made my shirt move - that’s a lot of air being pushed. To his credit, the sound was ok right behind the board downstairs. But these engineers are working for the entire room full of people, not just themselves. Oh, this one wasn’t. Did he ever take a walk around? So lame. Oh, I’ve been to hundreds of concerts. Not a newbie.
Goose is amazing- their performance was 5 star, but the sound system in the venue was pretty terrible. We've seen Goose in many venues, and this was by far the worst sound. Besides that, the staff was excellent- really friendly employees and kind security. They helped the inebriated by handing out water bottles to them and checking if they were okay.
Jams are so energy filled. Lights were super cool. So fun to finally get to see them live!
Great show! Goose is incredible. Venue is beautiful and intimate.
Goose fux. I need a seatbelt for my soul so I don’t astral project out if my body.
One of the better live performances I’ve ever seen. Goose is the only band besides Phish that makes me feel that way
I had never heard Goose but went to the show on a date. I wasn’t expecting to be so blown away - Goose killed it and I had a great time! Great job fellas!
Goose was amazing. The sound was on point. Able to get to merch and drinks with ease. It was my first time at the State Theater and I will be back. Definitely worth the trip from CT.
Watching these guys interact is truly joy-inducing. They’re reveling in their success, and KILLING IT. Everyone was having such a good time, band and crowd.
That title says it all. The show was absolutely incredible.
