The seats were lower bowl, row 3 from the floor. The cameraman on the skirt of the ring prevented my son and I from seeing the fights unless they were on the ropes on either side of him. There were no sightline issue when I purchased the tickets and there was no way to know that we would see the cameraman’s back as he stood directly in front of us for all the fights. The 40/40 Club’s food hardened under the heat lamps and the view to the ring below was limited to a 1/4 of the club’s floor space. When we attempted to get closer to the area where we could see the ring and fights, an attendant told us to back away from the area as that section was for other attendees who had paid for different access. It was not a value add to be up there. Buying concessions on the main floor would have been more convenient with better food options. I’ve only attended these prize fights in Vegas and LA. I’ll stick to those venues and stay away from the Barclays Center in NYC. I’m honestly not a high maintenance fight fan, I just believe that paying thousands for tickets on row 3 should include a full view of the fights.
Undercards sucked but the main event was great lots of excitement..,nothing like a New York crowd
My seat was broken and I spoke with two Barclays associates and no one came to repair it. I sat down for over 5 hours in a broken seat. It was leaning to the right and they said someone was going to come by to fix it. I’m very upset on how it was not handled.
Best fight I’ve seen in person! Legendary 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The card only had two good fights and the rest of the fights was boring(horrible) . And the food at the 40/40 club was disgusting.
I had a blast at Barclay's Center Saturday evening. A full evening of great boxing matches, all the way up to the main event. I'm glad I was able to attend.
Fight was great. Golden Boy always delivers. However, the venue, Barclays Center, was not so good. Music was offensive and unimaginative. I felt bad for the kids there, as there were quite a few. I also noticed a prevalent use of vaping, which I thought was not allowed at the venue.
The fight was amazing with Ryan Garcia. More could definitely be done in between the two fights to keep the energy and crowd going. One suggestion would be Video clips in between the fights rather than just blasting music. Facility is clean and plenty of food options.
Excellent promotion by Golden Boy Promotions. We had an awesome time at the fight. VIP experience is not worth the money. The only former boxer they brought in for a meet and greet was Roy Jones Jr. It was great meeting him and getting a photo. Only other fighters brought in to meet were two guys that fought on the prelim card. NO celebrities as stated there would be or any well known boxers. They also offered a meare three appetizers for about 50 people. Definitely not worth $250. Overall, my son and I had an awesome time.
Great fight. Security was being a bit of a heckler in my section but aside from that great atmosphere !
The venue, staff, and location is absolutely the best ever.
Pretty clean arena sound, view,Comfortability, good. The food is fine. Overall great experience boxing performances Were excellent. definitely gonna go again
I was impressed with the Golden Boy fight card. Great fights at a great price. The venue was also very nice. Great view for everyone.
The event was lively, and full of energy. Fantastic!
Event was actually well paced; not as much dead time between fights as I have experienced with other live boxing events in the past. Fights were entertaining. Venue was great, I was worried floor seats wouldn’t have the best view because of the flat nature of the floor, but I could see all the action well.
Event was good. Seating chart was misleading and seats were not good. Worst angle to view in the entire venue. In addition, a camera man was standing ringside filming and blocking entire view of the ring. We moved to less expensive seats that were not occupied and was able to view the main event.
Great seats, loved the reminders the fight was coming up
Was a great event and the cosmopolitan is an excellent venue for boxing
The scheduled bouts were great although only 1 of 5 went the distance, 3 TKO's, a decision and a disqualification. The fighters were well prepared and well matched. I look forward to going again!
