definitely looking forward to the next night at the fights at the barclay center
Monday night at Barclays Fight Night was a winner. My lady told me she wanted to see some boxing and we decided to go to Barclays Stadium on Monday Oct 3th. We were not disappointed at all. The fights were great the seats were great and we got there early to eat before the fights started. Which was a good idea because it was empty and the best part was that they cut the stadium in half with a big black curtain. This made the place feel less over whelming and closer to the action. Good job Barclay.
When I first arrived and found our seats, we waited and waited for the event to begin. It was advertised as beginning at 7PM but did not begin until 8PM. Initially, I thought they were going to play more music than show boxing matches. The bouts were very good, and the event progressed nicely. However, the cameraman obstructed our view (and the view of people in our surrounding area) during every bout. It would have been nice if the cameraman (standing on the canvas just outside of the ropes) would change position every now and then so we could have a better view from time to time. Aside from the negative points I have illustrated here, the event was very enjoyable.
My dad & I had fun at this boxing event. The boxers were actually boxing. They were engaging, not just standing there dancing around. The arena filled up toward the end. The crowd was excited & chanting. We had drinks. All in all, it was a good event.
I LOVE COMING HERE FOR FIGHTS. I JUST HAVE TO REMEMBER TO GET SEATS A LITTLE FURTHER OVER BECAUSE THE CAMERA MAN BE IN THE CORNER. UNFORTUNATELY THOUGH WHO I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO WIN LOST THIS TIME !!!!!
Enjoyed a full day of boxing at Boardwalk Hall. Nice card, lots of action.
Food prices were reasonable , bathrooms were clean , seating was good for the price . 1 thing I really didn't like was the tiny screen tv's above head , my 11 yr old has a bigger tv on her wall in her room .
This was my first time and I really enjoyed the fights and the atmosphere. Peterson tried his best but he was clearly out of his class.
Star filled crowd watched two of the fighters give it their all. The 11 action packed fight card kept the audience at the edge of their seats and ended in a spectacular 3 round ko by the ferocious argentine star.
Marrhysse is a hard punching fighter. Power like that of former fighter Julian Jackson . I can't wait until he fights our Philly boy Danny Garcia
We saw all 11 fights and it was worth every penny. It's a shame that the attendance wasn't that strong. Show up and let's try to get more fights back in AC!
What an amazing night at the Boardwalk Hall, it should be illegal to have such great seats available a week before the event
I love goin to boxing matches and I had a great experience at broad walk hall..
Great sets of fights and a great deal for the $$$. I got some $90 seats and for the 10 fights that's $$ well spent. SICK KO in the main event, even though I was a fan of both guys. The sport of boxing is on the rise with a ton of good events on the East Coast the 1st half of 2013.
Great seats... Great atmosphere. Love boxing. But a corner view
Boardwalk Hall was alot nicer than i thought. Overall the the arena and the boxing were good. Will definitely visit again for another fight.
Board walk hall was a good venue with great sight lines and I felt close to the action both for sight and sound
The venue is nice and the fight was nice. It was sad to see Lamont Peterson lose. It's always good to see boxing live. All the fights were good.
