Godsmack were a big part of the late ’90s hard rock revival, and they’ve continued to lead the way for legacy rock acts with three No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200, 28 Top 10 singles on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, three Grammy nominations and over 20 million albums sold worldwide. The quartet formed in Lawrence, Massachusetts in 1995 and played their first shows in Boston bars before recording their 1997 independent album, All Wound Up…, which was later reworked as their quadruple-platinum, major label debut, Godsmack, in 1998. The band’s profile grew as they joined the Ozzfest tour in 1999 and 2000, dropped their sophomore album Awake on Halloween 2000 and earned their first two No. 1 singles on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with the album’s title track and 2002’s “I Stand Alone” from The Scorpion King soundtrack. Ahead of the release of 2003’s Faceless, Godsmack assembled their long-standing core lineup of founding members Sully Erna and Robbie Merrill along with guitarist Tony Rombola and drummer Shannon Larkin. The album kicked off a three-album streak of Billboard 200 No. 1 debuts including 2006’s IV and 2010’s The Oracle. The band collected their second career platinum-certified single with “Bulletproof” off 2018’s When Legends Rise, which reached the Top 10 on the Billboard 200. In 2023, the band unveiled their eighth studio album, Lighting Up the Sky.

Godsmack at the Hardrock was a perfect combination of fun and exciting. The entire show from the intro on the curtain, to the long set of great hits to the dueling drums was just amazing. No part of the show was boring and my only complaint was how quickly time passed. Please bring them and more bands to the hardrock hollywood soon!
Awesome, totally awesome. From the first note to the last. Meatloaf should take some lessons. Show stopping tune after tune. Must see show. Looking forward now to Stone Temple Pilots. Liked the openess of the stage. Last saw them on the Crue fest tour set was to limited. They also blew the crue away. I would like to see a Godsmack and Tool Rock off.
this concert was one of the best shows that i have experienced in my life from the start to the end with songs like, LOVE HATE SEX PAIN,THE ENEMY, I STAND ALONG, etc.... I can't understand why the stadium was not filled up because they deserve to be recognized for such great talent that they all have as a group. I definitely will be at their next concert because i am a big fan.

Great time was had by all. Godsmack never disappoints. Their concerts rock and Tuesday's show was great. Loved the stage and for the first time, the sound rocked at the Hard Rock.
THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST CONCERTS I HAVE ATTENDED. THEAUDIENCE WAS TOTALLY INTO IT. THE BAND WAS TOTALLY INTO THE CROWD.
These guys are the best ever. The show was awesome. Never a sit down moment. I would see them every night if I could.

It was the best concert I have seen in a long time. The music, the light and video screens, and interaction with the audience was incredible!!!!
I loved the small venue for the Godsmack show, but was disappointed that there was only a local band opening, and that the concert was only just over 90 minutes long. The band played their older hits and several songs from the new record. Lots of lighting effects. Super energy. Great show overall!!

We had a great time at the Godsmack concert. Hard Rock Live is a great place for concerts.
I took my son because Godsmack is his favorite band. This was my fourth time going to a Godsmack concert and my sons 6th or 7th. We never miss them when they come to town. Sully is the consummate rock-n-roll, head banging rock god. They don't take any breaks between songs. It's just one amazing song after another. There is one thing that I would complain about and I feel it is pretty significant is....I have never in my 30 years of going to concerts ever see the main performing band NOT do at least one encore song. They sang their last song. We all clapped & screamed and the lights came on. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I have to say that was very DISAPPOINTING from a fans point of view. I still love them but...
I guess I forgot that they only know 3 power chords and was expecting more. There new stuff has a lot to be desired, as we all know, and the whole show was a yaaawn. To me they are TOTALLY main stream spoiled and can go no place but down now after peaking. They should use some of that Government re-training money and take some lessons and get a progressive new style. To me they've gone soft.
Godsmack Always rocks the NEw Album Oracle is as amazing if not better then thier original Godsmack album.
Had a GREAT time. Awesome concert. It seemed way to short to me. I wish they would have played longer and they didnt do any encore, which was VERY disappointing. I enjoyed the show VERY much, they were the best to say the least!! I just was a little disappointed that they didnt play for very long.
Godsmack delivered again with an incredible show. Never disappoint! Good set-list, nicely interwined some classics with some stuff off their new album. As usual, the show had all the bells and whistles, with a confetti bomb going off at the end. Surpislingly, the Hard Rock was a great venue for the show!
BY FAR BEST SHOW I have seen many shows and They always blow my mind.
