Gloria Trevi on Tour
In the late ‘80s, Gloria Trevi made her live singing debut on the biggest Mexican variety show at the time and proceeded to shock the world when she was censored on national television for her daringly outrageous performance of "Dr. Psiquiatra." And thus Trevi's shock-pop was born — and so was one of the most notorious artists of our era. Her performances brim with high drama, outlandish theatrics and plenty of sass, and the original Mexican wild child continues to dazzle audiences the world over via her irresistible moxie. On her 2019 North American tour, in support of her pop album Diosa de la Noche, audiences of all ages got an opportunity to see a truly legendary and multifaceted pop performer.

Born Gloria de los Ángeles Treviño Ruiz in Monterrey, Mexico, in 1968, the singer-songwriter moved to Mexico City during her teenage years to conquer Spanish-language pop, which she righteously did. Along the way, Trevi also rewrote the Latin pop playbook in a time when female performers were expected to be glamorous or wholesome. Though her biting critique on machismo and religious hypocrisy delivered via her unmistakable rasp, Trevi stunned the nation with her reinvention of what a pop star looks like. While she became a celebrated and much-needed voice for Mexican feminists everywhere, she also endured what is perhaps the biggest scandal of the music industry during the late ‘90s. Rising from the ashes like a phoenix, this superstar came back fiercer than ever in the mid ‘00s. As remarkably complex as she is, Trevi can be whatever she pleases: A theatrical femme fatale, or a soul-baring and passionate singer. But one thing that is certain throughout is that she is a one-of-a-kind creator.

I've always loved Gloria Trevi and now even more...she put on a great show!! I will defenetly go see her again but hopefully in a different theatre because $25 for parking was a big NO NO for me!!

It was a good concert overall but next time maybe start on time...
it was my first (and wont be my last) seeing her/ she brought so much to her show. all the costumes were amazing. she has great audience appeal and following. always givng us something to desire from song to song.
This was a great event, and the best crowd.. verry fun.
This concert was really good. She changed several times and her outfits were nice. She sang her old songs and i think those songs are what make who she is. She had a couple of mix songs and the dancers were did a good performance.

The show started an hour late. Stage handlers where stil putting the stage together 30 min before start time. I seen Gloria Trevi several other times and I would have to say I have enjoyed her more in the past!
Performance was spectacular. Too bad they weren't selling any t-shirts, cd's, or some type of memorabilia.

It was an amazing experience to be able to take my neice and daughter who were raised listening and enjoying Gloria Trevi. We had a wonderful time. Her concert was the best. My sister, neice and daughter all had an incredible experience. Would definately attend another Gloria Trevi concert. I'm so happy that I was able to make my family one of their dreams come true. We had been impatiently waiting for this event. It was well worth the wait. Gloria Trevi was amazing, incredible performance. Highly will recommend concerts at Dodge Arena. Was well organized and security was great. Overall the experience was amazing. I had been waiting for a very long time to have the opportunity to see and attend one of Gloria Trevi's concert and it was everything I ever hoped too. It was incredible. I can't say enough but thank you and Gloria for organizing such a wonderful concert.
it was a hell of a show i will never forget it.... the money i spent was worth it....
The concert took a while to begin, but that was okay, because I wanted this moment to last forever. Pewee, did a neat job. I liked some of his music. Gloria Trevi rocked the show. But I didn't like that she only sang a few songs, or it probably seemed like she played a little cause I know literrally all of her music and I expected a lot, cause this was my very first time seeing her, keeping in mind I have been her fan since I was 7 years old and I am now 24. I must say, even though she played about 10 jams, I LOVED IT. Will I pay to go see her again. Heck yes!! I loved how every one stood up while she performed. I didn't like the fact that there was this tall person in front of me, so I had to stand atop a chair, and a lady selling drinks "RUDELY" commanded me to get off the chair. Needless to say, that didn't stop me from rocking out to her all of her jamz.. BTW, what do you need to be her backup dancer, or backup singer. I would love to fill in one of those spots. I wish I could've met her. She's been my dream since I was young, but to have seen her perform was good enough for me.
I must say this concert surpassed my expectations. I had a blast at the conert!

It was an amazing show. I loved it. The show was full of excitement and I am very glad that I attended. We need more shows like this one. Gloria we love you and pray for you and your family. May God Bless you on your upcoming wedding.
if u like all her music.....u will not be let down. She was authentic and fun. she is having as much fun performing as you are watching, singing and dancing along. i've seen so many concerts but this one is on top of my list!!
