  • An Awesome Show

by Becky from Tacoma on 3/28/25Rialto Theater - TacomaRating: 5 out of 5

This was such a wonderful night. Love, love, love the "Big Band"music. The audience was filled with many generations, folks were dressed in the era of 1938-1940. The band played many familiar songs. There was 1 band member who played 4 different instruments - amazing! The singers were phenomenal!! The Rialto was the perfect venue - it was built in 1918.

  • A wonderful experience of bygone days.

by Todd on 3/28/25Rialto Theater - TacomaRating: 4 out of 5

Loved the show. Seats are kind of small but what was I expecting from a theater built in like 1918.? Beautiful old historical building and music from the big band era. It was almost perfect.

  • A Blast From the Past

A concert of vintage performed by a most talented group of musicians. A truly nostalgic experience!

  • A Fantastic Experience

by Cat on 3/28/25Rialto Theater - TacomaRating: 5 out of 5

This show is fabulous! The musicians are exceptional, as are the singers. In addition to being an exceptional musician in his own right, Eric was also a great host providing lots of interesting information from that era. Not only was the music fantastic, the musicians were also very engaged with the audience; a lot of fun. I would most definitely go see this show again.

  • Greatest Music Ever

Fantastic concert. Everyone I spoke to said it was worth every penny. Can hardly wait for a return engagement.

  • Enjoyable night

by MJ on 3/4/25Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

A night to remember the tunes from the era. The musicians were wonderful and the songs that were sung, we could actually understand the words. Not like today where you have screaming and yelling. The history of the orchestra was intertwined with the performance. Glen Miller left quite a legacy. Hope they return.

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed The Glenn Miller Concert at the Avalon. It was a lot of fun. We grew up with that music.

  • The Glen Miller Orchestra

by KBM on 12/5/24Orpheum Theatre - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

The band performance, in my estimation, was good, but not great. When then band stuck to the Miller standards, Little Brown Jug, Moonlight Serenade, Pennsylvania 6500, etc. they were terrific and the sound was quite authentic. However, when they performed holiday tunes, the familiar tunes became unrecognizable when they began to do individual solo's, etc.

  • A warm and wonderful trip back in time

by Georgina on 12/5/24Orpheum Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Love, love seeing the Glenn Miller Orchestra band play and have seen them a few times in Vancouver. It’s hard to explain the feeling I get from being in the same room as these wonderful musicians and singers but it really feels like being transported back in time. I have always loved this music as a child growing up in my grandparents house it was played all the time. I’m 50 so this music has carried on through generations and the GlennMiller orchestra today is the closest you will ever get to the real Glenn Miller. Talent in this group is unbelievable. Every single one of them. A wonderful way to spend the evening wished I could have Danced. I really do hope this band travels for generations to come.

  • GMO Very Entertaining

by Frank on 10/29/24Sandler Center For The Performing Arts - Virginia BeachRating: 5 out of 5

A concert that definitely did not disappoint! Excellent musicians and vocal talent were led by a very talented conductor/saxophone player/vocalist. All of the favorite songs from the Glenn Miller playbook as well as other hits from the swing era were enjoyed by the appreciative audience! All in all, a very entertaining afternoon of music!

  • Very enjoyable, fantastic musicians

by Jbalmer on 10/29/24Sandler Center For The Performing Arts - Virginia BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the music and the very talented musicians. Loved the instruments that looked like they were the originals from the 40’s. The best part was being able to visualize my parents dancing to Glen Miller back in the day. I had a lot of his music played at my Dads 100th Bday celebration as well as his celebration of life when he died at almost 102. Brought back good memories.

It really brought back memories of a very special era. It was also wonderful how the veterans were honored. The singers were also superb.

Loved hearing the music of my parent’s generation. Orchestra Director was especially fantastic (sang/played his instrument and role perfectly)! :).

  • Good Show

by Sven on 10/10/24Michigan Theater - Ann ArborRating: 4 out of 5

Excellent concert. Skilled musicians, talented singer, and entertaining and informative MC. I enjoyed all of it, but would favor fewer new pieces and more swing classics.

  • Great night of entertainment

by Sandy on 10/9/24Michigan Theater - Ann ArborRating: 5 out of 5

My husband and I went to the Glenn Miller Orchestra concert at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, MI as an early anniversary celebration. It was the first time we had been there and the venue was beautiful. The orchestra did an awesome job with the music and vocals of the songs. I would recommend both the venue and the orchestra to anyone looking for a wonderful nostalgic experience.

  • Incredible Performance

by Drew on 6/8/24Five Flags Center - DubuqueRating: 5 out of 5

Guess I've become a Glenn Miller Groupie. This is the fifth of their concerts I have attended. Most in Iowa but drove to the one in Ft. Worth, Texas in February of 2023 to take my Brother and his Wife to the concert. Each performance was exquisitely executed. The music never gets old. The first concert I attended I took my 91 year old Mother-In-Law; who had danced to Glenn Miller at the Val-Air Ballroom in Des Moines, Iowa before the War. She passed away a few months later. I was asked to speak about her at her funeral. All five of her daughters were in the front pew of the church. I told them I had had an opportunity to do something they never would-I had gotten to watch their mother turn 17. It is one of my most favorite "snap shot recollections". Thanks, so very much, for keeping the Miller Sound alive.
