  • He knows how it’s done!

by Fan on 9/10/24Jo Long Theatre - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5

Very few modern artists know how to put on a tremendous show and show an immense outpouring of love and emotion towards their audience. Glenn is one of those very few who can. He is truly the voice of rock and a true rockstar in every sense of the word. His band’s feel, showmanship and technical abilities are on par with the best in the world. And they have improved over the last time we saw them. The sound was great, because they still use real amps on stage…and it would be difficult to make this simple four-piece band’s setup sound poor. Truly an excellent show! I will go to see them every time they come to town!! Rock on, Glenn Hughes!!!!

  • Shades of Purple

I was impressed with the performance and the sound at this venue. Mr. Hughes and his band mates all played with great enthusiasm and devotion to the music of Deep Purple! I would have given 5 stars for this incredible performance if only we could have taken our drinks to our seats at the Joe Long theater.

  • Glenn Hughes was Amazing!

by Jim on 9/10/24Jo Long Theatre - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was great, drinks were semi-reasonably priced, and Glenn Hughes and his band were absolutely amazing! If you get the chance to see them, do not miss it!! Outstanding vocals, the drummer was out of this world, and guitar and keyboards were top notch!

  • Glenn Hughes San Antonio

Glenn Hughes and band knocked it out the park. Fantastic show in every way. Small venue size worked well and he was able to interact with audience at personal level. I really enjoyed his career stories. Drummer. Guitarist and keyboard player are excellent artist. Will definitely see Glenn next year.

  • Blown away

I opted for the bar area above and adjacent to the main stage. I was 20+ feet from Glenn Hughes! Amazing sound. The venue was great as always. And the drinks were honest pours! I'm seeing two other shows here over the next two months. Can't wait

  • Good show. Started too early

by RickS on 2/27/24Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 4 out of 5

Doors opened at 7:30. First band went at 7:45. What club has a band start playing before the line outside has entered the club. Missed the first band because I was still outside

  • The Rockstar’s Rockstar..no one does it better!

by Mark S. on 2/26/24Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely amazing! Glenn is a freaking anomaly! It was like stepping back into 1974 with a rocker who’s looks, vocal range, and energy haven’t missed a single beat. Love this guy! I took my 19 year old daughter and she was blown away. What made the night even more special is Glenn made her feel so welcomed by giving her attention while he played. So cool that my daughter can see one of my rocker heroes who really hasn’t change a bit from when I was listening to Deep Purple during my teenage years. Such a humble gentleman too. He really appreciates his fans. Looking forward to seeing him with BCC in FTL! Can’t wait!

  • Great Classic Rock

by R&R Forever on 2/26/24Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 4 out of 5

Glenn Hughes and his band were excellent. Seen him a couple months ago at the Parker along with Malmsteen. The band was good then. But at the Culture Room you get to see the band closeup and you can see the nuances of the musicianship. Hughes amazes me in that he has kept his voice in tip top shape after all these years. The guitarist drummer and keyboardist are very good. Seeing MK 111 Deep Purple songs being played live is excellent not forgetting also MK4 song in there also. Drum solo was a standout for me. Very good. All in all a great show. Opening bands Bad Marriage and EnuffZNuff were pretty damn good too.
