16-year-old glaive is an artist hailing from the mountains of North Carolina who began making music at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. He released his first song on Soundcloud in April and his rise in the time since has been meteoric, supported by a steady stream of new music that quickly earned him acclaim and a devoted following. He shared his debut EP cypress grove this past fall, with The FADER naming the single "astrid" one of the best song songs of 2020 and The New York Times' Jon Caramanica including it among his top tracks of the year. He shared his second, all dogs go to heaven, in August, with The New Yorker praising its "startlingly well-formed sound" and Rolling Stone citing standout single "detest me" as "a good example of everything there is to like about glaive." He now has 1,015,391 monthly listeners on Spotify – a 101,539,100% increase after starting 2020 with just one. Look for glaive to bring venues like the Varsity Theater to capacity when he tours by a town near you.
ericdoa: ericdoa is from what he describes as a "small ass farm town" in Connecticut, certainly not known for its artistic output or community. Without many like-minded kids at school, he spent most of his time on the internet growing up, and met nearly all of his closest friends and collaborators online via platforms like Discord and Twitter. Eric grew up around a music-oriented family and was exposed to "raw ass pop artists" like Rick James, Earth Wind & Fire, and Teena Marie at a young age. When he started making music around 14 years old, these influences meshed with the music he heard online, and Eric taught himself to record and produce his own material.

The show was awesome. Some of the venue staff was bratty. But I do understand their point of view. Hundreds of young punks. I get it, they're annoying (I'm almost 50). But they were rude. But also , some of the staff were extremely nice and friendly. So overall it all balanced out. The Fillmore is a great place to see a show.
Glaive is the best live preformer I've seen hands down, and he and aldn are super sweet. They took selfies n signed things for a ton of fans after including me , and I waited until the last minute for a photo w both of them bc so many people wanted to meet them too, but they waited for me to take my photo right before they had to go and it was the sweetest thing ever 💕 #casperflannelgirl #necktattoogirl
i wanna go back so bad :') he was super super sweet and the crowd was so into it
amazing amazing amazing he was so energetic and the crowd was having a blast
crowd was weak and glaive sounded like he lost his voice
Saw him in St Louis! He killed it & I loved every moment of it. Got to meet him afterwards where he talked to everyone out there - he even commented on my post Malone shirt :) I hope he comes back soon! Such a sweet soul and I loved his little dance moves
i have never been to a concert before, so glaive was my first, and HONESTLY THIS WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. his performance was AMAZING, the venue was good, small, and clean, which was a good experience, and getting merch wasn't a problem either. EVERY SONG WAS SUNG SOOOOOO WELLLLLLL, and i even got the chance to get on stage with him. this was so worth, 100% will go again and i reccomend yall to go, and for any parents thinking it isnt safe i promise its 100% safe as a 14 year old who went, nothing about it was unsafe and they made sure safety was the top priority.
Ash gave a lot of energy with his performance. He was interactive with the crowd and showed a lot of love
was absolutely amazing. he got in the crowd and moshed with us. definitely one of his best concerts i've been to
Had so much fun! Got to meet him on accident before the show and he is so sweet and goofy! Will definitely see him again!
Auto tune heaven. Can’t hold a tune. Can’t make up his mind if he’s a brooding artist, a rocker, or a runway model. Keep your damn shirt on and show us u can sing before you try to be Jim Morrison.
I was able to get last minute tickets and I’m so glad I went to see glaive. He has such an amazing stage presence and is just an amazing performer. AND I got to meet him!!!! I can’t wait for him to come back 🥹
HAD SO MUCH FUN SO MANY FUN PEOPLE AND SONGS AND HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME LISTENING TO ONE OF MY FAVORITE ARTISTS
You would have thought my 15 year old was seeing Elvis. She got to meet Glaive and Aldn, was emotional the whole way home. Best experience of her life thus far.
THE CROWD WAS LIT, GLAIVE WAS LIT, RIOVAZ WAS AMAZING, ALDN WAS ANGELIC. EVERYTHING. WAS. PERFECT.
I had a great time it was so much fun I wish it was a bit warmer outside but no one can control that
He is so much fun to be around in general. Glaive is so energetic and knows how to get everyone hyper and jumping. and Aldn & midwxst did amazing opening. i loved it.
I’ve seen Glaive three times in Chicago, and every performance is incredible; the atmosphere is euphoric and his energy is amazing Glaive is the next up, go see him in small venues while you still can
