Givēon has made himself one of music’s brightest stars by bringing vivid color, depth, and soul to songs that capture the intensity of life’s twists and turns. After coming to fame via Drake’s “Chicago Freestyle,” the CA native became a force in his own right. Givēon had a whirlwind 2020 after releasing his Platinum-certified “Like I Want You” (225 million cross-platform streams in the US). He kept the momentum with “Heartbreak Anniversary,” a gauzy ballad that peaked at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100, garnered over 668 million streams, and earned 2X Platinum status. In March 2020, Givēon’s debut EP, Take Time, confirmed his evocative songwriting prowess and would be nominated for Best R&B Album at the 2021 Grammys. His fall When It’s All Said and Done EP further explored the peaks and valleys of love and, when re-packaged with its predecessor in 2021, hit #5 on the Billboard 200. After being nominated for a 2020 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding New Artist, he won BET’s 2021 Best New Artist, and his audience is growing—to the tune of over 1.7 billion streams globally. He even hit #1 on the Hot 100 in March on Justin Bieber’s “Peaches.” That hit helped him win award for Best Pop Song at the 2021 MTV VMA‘s where he was nominated for seven awards including Best New Artist, Best R&B and Best Pop Song. Drake then invited Givēon back into his world, this time for a sizzling verse on Certified Lover Boy’s “In the Bible” with Lil Durk—one of a guaranteed run of thrilling collabs to come. And at his festival debut, Lollapalooza 2021, he found a sea of voices who knew his lyrics. But success has never really been a goal—Givēon just wants to bear his soul, wich he does by bringing venues like The Fillmore (Minneapolis) to capacity, all around the world.

The overall concert was really good but Aragon ballroom did not have really good air conditioning. It was very hot and many people were passing out
It was great and fun giveon is the best I loved the band as well
the event having mostly standing room is always risky but the venue gave out waters & even with a jacket on & with all the people around i was just fine! he has an amazing stage presence & with smaller venues i feel its so intimate & the sound is amazing! soo happy i saw him live!
I’ve been to Aragon Ballroom many many times, and it seems like for every opener they turn the bass up so much so that it’s hard to understand what the singer is saying. Then once the main person comes out, it’s all changed and sounds normal. Another thing is with the lighting and smoke from the smoke machines, these two together are a harsh mix. It makes it extremely difficult to see the artist/get pictures of them because of how much the light reflects off the smoke. When the lights are on, especially because they’re coming from behind the artist, it just shows a silhouette of them, if anything at all. On the bright side, Giveons performance was amazing and I would love to see him again.
Giveon's vocals were amazing, and his energy was unparalleled. The venue was new and honestly gorgeous, really fit the vibe of the show well, and the staff of the Fillmore were fantastic. Honestly my biggest complaint was him stopping *twice* during the show to sign things from the audience. My friends and I were in front/second row general admission and both times he did that, the crowd became uncontrollable and near violent. People were getting trampled, things were thrown from the back, and others were screaming trying to get him to sign things. I've gone to a lot of shows at a lot of venues and I've never seen an artist do this. It was complete chaos. I understand this was likely supposed to be a fun fan experience, but it wasn't well executed. Me and the girls left the show with bruises.
I enjoyed this concert soo much! Giveon was amazing. He performed sooo many songs! I could see him perfectly but I was standing the entire time, which I expected so that's fine.
I Highly recommend giveon concert. So many single baddies. Hooked up with some girl and she laid that givussy on me.
First time doing standing room tickets and it was a great experience! Everything was well put together.
I hadn't been to the Paramount post-covid,so twas great to see some of its charm still remain. Including great views & sound quality regardless of where you are. This was the 1st time I was at an event that was mostly GA but had a mezz seating section. Gladly, had tix in the mezz seating. I'm too grown to be doing GA - no offense.😅 Only cons: Mezz seating too tight together - no personal space - yikes! And then white lighting - At times the lighting was so glaring towards the audience that you couldn't see the stage from the seated sections. Anyhow, a great evening overall!
Went to the stl show last night on Sept 30. Just AMAZING. I’m so proud of how far he’s come to hear everyone sing every song word for word almost brought me to tears. I can’t wait to see what else he’s going to do in the future and I can’t wait to see him sell even bigger venues. Just know ima be at every tour every time lol. I love you Giveon 🫶🏽🥹
The show was amazing, I just wish there was seating so the shorter people behind I’d the taller people could see… it was difficult for a lot of the kids to see him on stage because of the “Standing Room Only”, but it was still a great show.
Great opening songs from Jenevieve, she was so beautiful. And Giveon was just showstopping. I had the best time .Definitely would love to do it again
It would have been nice to know to show up 2 hours early for a sold-out show and that GA seats means no seats and standing for 4 hours.
It was so incredibly crowded and I’m so short so it blowed. But the performance from GIveon was amazzzzing ( obviously)
Just a euphoric night. Awesome. Wanted to go again the next night
Easily the best concert ive been to thus far. Its really gonna be difficult to get over this one. Damn.
The Paramount needs a revamp. I’m short (5’2”) and my knees were touching the seat in front of me, and I felt like the person next to me & I were sharing the seat they are so small. Others further back wish there had been screens to see more details (his face). But Giveon did his thing!!!! Amazing show, sounded beautiful, he made it feel intimate, yet there were thousands of people there. I would see him perform again!!
Amazing. Would fly to every city to see him perform again!
Wonderful performance. Wish the Venue took cash at the bar but understand why. Loved That there were two openers and Both also R&B singers. It was very crowded like we were at a Micheal Jackson Concert. Four people passed out from the heat or overwhelming energy. It was great how on top of all they were. Overall Great Venue Wonderful time.
