Givēon has made himself one of music’s brightest stars by bringing vivid color, depth, and soul to songs that capture the intensity of life’s twists and turns. After coming to fame via Drake’s “Chicago Freestyle,” the CA native became a force in his own right. Givēon had a whirlwind 2020 after releasing his Platinum-certified “Like I Want You” (225 million cross-platform streams in the US). He kept the momentum with “Heartbreak Anniversary,” a gauzy ballad that peaked at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100, garnered over 668 million streams, and earned 2X Platinum status. In March 2020, Givēon’s debut EP, Take Time, confirmed his evocative songwriting prowess and would be nominated for Best R&B Album at the 2021 Grammys. His fall When It’s All Said and Done EP further explored the peaks and valleys of love and, when re-packaged with its predecessor in 2021, hit #5 on the Billboard 200. After being nominated for a 2020 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding New Artist, he won BET’s 2021 Best New Artist, and his audience is growing—to the tune of over 1.7 billion streams globally. He even hit #1 on the Hot 100 in March on Justin Bieber’s “Peaches.” That hit helped him win award for Best Pop Song at the 2021 MTV VMA‘s where he was nominated for seven awards including Best New Artist, Best R&B and Best Pop Song. Drake then invited Givēon back into his world, this time for a sizzling verse on Certified Lover Boy’s “In the Bible” with Lil Durk—one of a guaranteed run of thrilling collabs to come. And at his festival debut, Lollapalooza 2021, he found a sea of voices who knew his lyrics. But success has never really been a goal—Givēon just wants to bear his soul, wich he does by bringing venues like The Fillmore (Minneapolis) to capacity, all around the world.

I had a wonderful time and am a older adult. The energy was electrifying and Giveon was awesome.
The Giveon show was amazing, however, parking for this event was absolutely ridiculous! Maybe it’d be a good idea to assess parking when picking a venue.
This show was awesome the music 🎶 especially sound was spectacular every note I felt like it touched my soul. Givone voice was pure and deep he has such a deep sensual voice and every song was song right on point. The stage was beautiful I loved 💕 everything about the show.
I really enjoyed the show, but I wish it was longer. The crowd was amazing!
This was one of the best shows I've been to this year! Loved the venue. The crowd was on their feet all night singing and dancing along.
He did so good! Please go see him in person, it was worth every penny. He got on stage around 9:30 and didn’t get off until 11:00! The best concert I’ve ever been to and will definitely pay to see him again.
Show was amazing wish it had better air flow but I think the layout is really cool
Giveon was GREAT! No harm or foul about your setup BUT you need to upgrade your tv screens I was on the LAWN so they where kind of too small and placement was off BUT if they were bigger placement would work Urban Garage advertised free 2 hr parking but on 14th it was $37.00 parking? GIVEON’S show was as I expected Fantastic Performance but I didn’t understand about the time delay to his act?
Well put together , no issues everyone in good vibe , felt like a big party i loved it so much i wish I could redo the day .
The VIP experience was top notch. Didn't have to wait long at all, was able to shop merchandise and had tons to choose from. Definitely all worth it!
Giveon’s performance was absolutely worth the hype, his vocals sounded just as good live as they do in his recordings. The crowd was completely locked in the entire time, and he had this calm but captivating stage presence that made every song feel emotional and real. I would definitely see him again. The openers were decent overall, but I honestly think Sasha should’ve gone on right before Giveon, her energy and style fit his vibe perfectly and would’ve set the tone better for the main act. One thing that could’ve been improved was the merch situation. There was only one stand, and the line was ridiculously long just to find out there weren’t many options or sizes left. It definitely would’ve been nice to see a few more designs or stands spread throughout the venue. Still, despite the minor stuff, the concert itself was unforgettable. Giveon delivered an experience that lived up to every expectation, smooth vocals, emotional lyrics, and a crowd that felt every word.
Giveon concert was the absolute best concert I e been to in a very long time. His vocals and performance were spot on. The theme of his tour was very classy and grown up. I would absolutely see him again in the future.
The Concert was just simply amazing, the workers were really kind and made the experience enjoyable.
Loved Giveon but the sounds system at the venue was reallly bad.
It was my first concert and I literally loved every moment of it. Giveon has been my favorite artist since I discovered him in 2020. Choosing him to be my first concert experience was the best decision ever! the whole experience felt so surreal, it felt like a dream come true. 10000000/10!
I wish the venue had seats even if you had to pay more for a good seat. Having to stand outside the venue for hours to rush in to get a semi descent view and then stand for another couple hours through the openers until finally getting to watch Giveon is not for the weak. I did not appreciate all the interruptions from the audience and then the smoking, not everyone wants to be in an enclosed space, squished between people smoking marijuana. Other than what was mentioned above, Giveon’s performance was top tier. Still daydreaming about his voice 😍
I had the VIP early entrance for GIVĒON’s show in San Francisco, which was both a blessing and a little frustrating at first. The biggest issue was the lack of clear communication—there were no details about when doors would open or what to expect with early entry. Since I traveled about 2.5 hours to get there (and was coordinating with my cousin who I brought along), that made planning stressful. Thankfully, we finally got an email with the details two days before the show. We parked around 5:20 PM and were in line by 5:35. Once inside, we were greeted with the cutest swag: a tote bag and tumbler (Mother Earth thanks you, seriously). We were about 15 people back in line, so we had a great spot—and because the venue didn’t open for another hour, we were able to take turns using the restroom and buying merch with no crowds or long waits, which was a really nice perk. When the doors opened, I appreciated how organized the staff were. One of the workers clearly explained the expectations: no pushing, no running—just respectful entry. It really helped set the tone. Thanks to that, we landed front and center, right on the barricade. Then… GIVĒON came out. And wow. His voice permeates your soul—there’s truly no other way to describe it. He was absolutely magical, and every note hit deep. You could feel the entire crowd just soaking in every second. Now for the one big con: no one told us that the bar was already open during VIP entry, and our early access came with two free drink tickets. By the time we realized, we had to leave our prime spot to grab the drinks, and of course, it was a bit of a battle to get back up to the front. It would’ve been great if someone had let us know earlier—especially since that kind of info really matters when you’ve worked hard to claim your spot at the barricade. Maybe I missed it and that’s why I’m keeping the experience 5 stars! Overall, despite a few bumps in communication, it was a truly unforgettable experience. GIVĒON live is something special, and that voice is worth every bit of hassle.
Giveon is one of the most amazing artist i have ever heard of. He was amazing and the music was incredible!!
giveon was great but the venue was packed, very disrespectful people pushing to get to the front, people were passing out. Wamu should separate vip and general ga off so people won’t push to the front.
The venue was a good size but General admission made it difficult to get a good look at the stage, making it so I was just listening to the concert and not actually able to see the performance.
