girl in red - the alternative pop artist from Oslo, born Marie Ulven, is continuing her path to global stardom, kicking off 2024 with a bang. In February, she announced that she would release her debut album for Columbia Records. Titled I'M DOING IT AGAIN BABY! the album will release in Spring 2024, followed by a tour across North America with shows at Radio City, The Greek, The Ryman Auditorium and Red Rocks amongst many other major venues.
girl in red first gained recognition and captured the hearts of audiences when she released her critically acclaimed debut album if i could make it go quiet in 2021. Critics and fans alike embraced her honest songwriting, disarming personality, powerful live performances, and musicianship. Celebrity supporters included Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish; press response was astoundingly positive, with several outlets proclaiming the album and "Serotonin"- the breakout track - a "Best of 2021" including but not limited to Rolling Stone, Billboard, Variety, NPR, Stereogum, NYLON and more. She also swept tv with performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Late Night With Seth Meyers, as well as TV performances worldwide including Skavlan, Late Night Berlin and MTV's EMAs.
girl in red continued to gain momentum in 2022. She started the year with a Best New Alternative Artist nomination for the iHeart Radio Music Awards. It was a well-deserved nod, considering she was the most played female artist on Alt Radio with "Serotonin". The song reached #2 and spent 30 weeks on the Alt chart, 21 of those weeks in the Top 10. "Serotonin" streams currently surpass 176million for the track, with nearly 5billion career streams to date.
girl in red spent much of 2022 with a robust run across North America with major festival highlights including Coachella and Lollapalooza. She also had monster sets at Oya, Glastonbury and a sold-out headline show at NYC's famed Pier 17. Additionally, as a thank you to her fans, girl in red released a stand-alone track entitled "October Passed Me By", a sequel and continuation of her beloved breakout track "we fell in love in october". The song, which girl in red worked on with Aaron Dessner, was released with an accompanying short film directed by Gustav Johansson, stars respected Norwegian actress Lisa Loven Kongsli as well as Ruth Vega Fernandes.
In 2023, girl in red was handpicked by Taylor Swift to open for her on her $1B groundbreaking Eras Tour. In addition to opening for Taylor, girl in red had her own UK & EU headline run in 2023, including a sold-out show at Hammersmith Apollo.
Marie is such a trooper given that she was under the weather. Amazing concert and I didn't expect anything less from her. Love the performances from her new album. Continue rocking.

Radio City is an amazing venue as always, girl ride really killed it. Great performance, great setlist, great acoustics. She wasn't feeling well and still gave an amazing performance. Perfect!

This concert was 100% the best one I’ve been to this year! Girl in red is an extremely talented singer, her music is wonderful, and the performance was beautiful! The way she interacted with the crowd throughout the whole thing is incredible considering she was sick with a viral infection! She is overall an awesome artist and I would 100% come back for another one of her concerts. 10/10 would recommend ‼️💕
The concert was really cool!!! Marie was really funny the whole way through and the music amazing. It is true that it would’ve been more fun without seats. But it was amazing anyway, completely worth it.

Girl in red was amazing and so interactive, I was front row barricade and it was amazing to say the least :) I was practically screaming the whole time, her talks are so silly as well! Can’t wait to see her again , she noticed me a few times and she’s super sweet and cool!
she did so good and i has so much fun. definelty puts on a good show and i would 1000% go to another girl in red show. she played a bunch of songs that lasted about an hour and a half and obviously played the popular ones. i so recommend going to one of her shows

I was so impressed with Momma as an opener but Marie truly knows how to put on a show! Seeing/hearing her live was everything I could've asked for
this was my favorite concert i've ever been to. marie is such an amazing performer and she was so interactive with the crowd. she was funny and sweet and made sure the crowd was okay and having a good time. she ended up creating a circle pit and we all had fun and danced for a few minutes. she then crowd surfed which went perfect! i will definitely be going to her future concerts!

The vibe here was as safe as a Taylor Swift show. She does swear a lot though which caused a lot of awkward glances from parents there with their middle and high school aged kids.
