Gipsy Kings were extremely entertaining. They had high energy. The Chevalier Theater was nice as well. I would Gipsy Kings to anyone. I am trying to learn the language that could only enhance the experience. I think I counted 10 English words that night...

For one and one-half hour performance, the Gypsy Kings delivered perfection in sound, powerful lyrics, and of course, non-stop blending of rhythm and lead guitars. I have seen Gypsy Kings at many venues in and around the Washington DC area over the years, and they never disappoint. A perfect evening!

The band itself was great with awesome music and nice interaction with the crowd. What ruined it from the beginning were the stage lights, especially the 5 lights set behind the stage. At the beginning they had them pointed directly at the audience, blinding many people during the first song. Thereafter they would sometimes have them rotating around but were still blinding when pointed at the crowd. We had to change seats toe the very top balcony further away just to make it tolerable. We saw several people leave the show just because of the lighting issue. It ruined the show and certainly didn’t add anything. We all came to see the band, not some stupidly designed light show that made it uncomfortable for us. Fire the lighting crew and the show will be so much better!

My Mother is from the country of Spain, she is from the South, Andalusia. I introduced my Mother to the Gipsy Kings after listening to the music in a clothing store called Emphatics. A friend, Steve Mosites picked the CD up for me in Paris. I was shocked when I saw that they were coming to Pittsburgh advertiser on Facebook and purchased tickets right away. It was a wonderful experience and the lead singer was amazing. His voice sounded just as it did over 30 years ago. I think this was one of the best experiences my Mother ever had in her lifetime. Thank you for that experience and the opportunity to be exposed to the Spanish culture. Mom really misses Spain and it was a delight to see her so happy. Thank you! :)

The vibes are great. The voices and the music over the top.

The music was so passionate and entertaining. Audience members were singing along, clapping, and even dancing (mostly off to the side). The band had incredible musicians and singers. Probably best concert this year!

The playing of the guitars was great and also the singing was amazing.

We were all very impressed with the performance. Song selection and the vocals were great. Would not miss it.
