The concert was awesome the arena was spectacular Love it
I've wanted to see the Gipsy Kings for years but it never worked out. So happy I finally got to see them. All the members were outstanding but the guitarists were exceptional. Everyone should see them at least once in their lives.
The show was outstanding. They performed wonderful and it was a BLAST!
This Gipsy Kings was good, I saw the original GK back in late 90ās in the Woodlands. My original seat was changed by the event organizer, they told me the stage was not going to rotate and the new seat was going to be better and be in front of the stage. When the concert started our seats was the worst because it was on the side of the rotating stage. Not happy with TM/arena theater.
I didn't realize when I bought the tickets that Nicolas was not part of these group Apparently there are 2 groups with the same name..I was a little dissapointed. Now i see why they didn't play some of the classics.
Only wanted 4 tickets...charged me for 5. Won't refund my money for the 1 unused ticket. Blaming it on the "Event Organizer". Horrible the way they treat customers!
The overall quality was good. It started 40 minutes late. I was aware that the old members are not in the band and left except Tonino. The new members performed very well.
My wife and I really enjoyed the music! Very impressed with the talent and sound.
Disappointed because Nicolas Reyes the led singer was not there
We need more bands like this one. We need to bring back our roots to life. Nothing like Gypsy Flamenco Style music like the Gypsy Kings. So far my favorite group. I will see them again in Dallas. Ole, Spain and South France.
MPA has an issue with the local crowd showing up on time. Venue was 3/4 full when the show started 30 minutes late. The show itself was fantastic. The organization of the venue is poor this year. They are not advertising the concerts and plays like they used to. Many empty seats.
Awesome performance from the main singer. Excellent musicians but the show is repetitive and Tonino, one of the Gipsy Kings founders, did the bare minimum. I was expecting more from him on the guitar!
At was a wonderful nostalgic show had a great time with the wife
This was the first time we got to experience the Gipsy Kings. We absolutely love their music! They put on a great show, but we were a little disappointed that they didn't sing "A Mi Manera"we were looking forward to that song. Other than that, it was a great show. Something to consider for next time, the microphones level should be a little higher to be able to hear them singing better.
This is the third time we see them in concert.....worth every dollar paid for seats! These musicians from Arles, France do not disappoint!
Had seen them at least 10 years ago and this show was better than before.
First time seeing the Kings, enjoyed their music and performance. Great showmanship. Would definitely see them again except closer to stage.
Great concert! Amazingly talented ensemble; voices, guitarists, all of it.
The Gipsy Kings are consummate performers (as well they should be!) and truly wonderful musicians. They preserve their flamenco roots well and the melismatic vocals are gorgeous and perfectly executed. I was more than pleased with my seats and the lighting was beautifully and subtly executed, My only real complaint was that the concert started more than 30 minutes late. No word was ever given about the delay, no explanations, no apologies. That seems pretty rude to me and it made my enjoyment somewhat less than it should have been,
