After spending much of 2013 focusing on his R&B supergroup TGT -- which also features Tyrese and Tank -- Ginuwine shifted his attention to his solo work with the planned 2014 release of a new album titled Old School Young -- his first solo recording since 2011's Elgin. His successful stint with TGT included the release of an album titled Three Kings, which hit No. 3 on The Billboard 200 chart, and a tour that had fans snapping up tickets for concerts in major performing arts centers.
Ginuwine, born Elgin Baylor Lumpkin, is a native of Washington, D.C. who grew up listening to the music of Michael Jackson and Prince, which inspired him to begin performing. After he was discovered by the R&B group Jodici in 1996, he was signed by Epic Records and released his debut album, titled Ginuwine... The Bachelor. It spawned the hit single "Pony," which is a good example of his influential brand of hip-hop soul. Among the other hits in Ginuwine's catalog, which inspired young stars like Ne-Yo and Chris Brown, are "Differences," "In Those Jeans," and "So Anxious."

The seats in this place are great. Show was good. Wish there was more time for the grand finale.
Nice R&B experience the venue was nice drinks trash show was awesome
Ginuwine's performance was full of energy and excitement. The live band was refreshing to hear and he sounded absolutely amazing. I was on my feet during his whole performance!
Next was amazing. Ginuwine was not. The music was absolutely way too loud. When he was singing he was yelling into the mic. I expected a better show.
Next gave a great show but Ginuwine did not deliver
I've seen ginuwine 5/6 times and this time he was just ok. I expected more
Ginuwine was ok performing but I love next they did they thangđ„°
Ginuwine was excellent the BEST CONCERT EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is so handsome I can listen to him all night
Worst concert ever, it seemed he only did four songs. Lots of yelling and not singing the backup singers carried his entire set. I walked in a fan and walked out never wanting to hear another song of his. Either the music was too loud or his mic was too low it was just bad all around. NEXT was amazing and had a great stage presence.
Venue was great, not too big not to small. Security was on point, and the performances were amazing! I would definitely recommend!
He came off the stage right in front is us and showed loved to all the women!!!
I really enjoyed the performance by both Jon B and Ginuwine!! Thanks
Great concert. My wife and I had a great time. Ginuwine and Jon B weâre both awesome performers. We canât wait to see them again. Must see concert
Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ânn
It was possibly the best concert ever. Jon B was a great opening act getting the crowd ready for Ginuwine. They both can still perform and get the crowd going. They interacted with the crowd and it felt very intimate. I can't wait for them to come back to town. I will be going again!
Genuwine from the beginning got down with the cuts. It was awesome Sisqo and Druhill took me way back. Recommend to everyone who grew up listening to these guys. They showed nothing but love. Very cool fans got to get on stage with them dance and sing so much fun to watch. Very entertaining and a great experience im grateful they came.
Love this show! Ginuwine still fine as ever. Fun show playing the hits. Back up singers and band were good too. Love that they engaged the audience. Good show. Would see him again
The show was ok . Drink and bathroom lines weee sĂșper long ! Needed more staff for sure
Very well put together. I loved that it was a smaller venue and he spent time interacting with the crowd. Ginuwine made the experience special by handing out roses and hand written letters. I loved that he did a meet and greet after and at a very reasonable price which included a printed photo. The only thing I didnât really like is that at the beginning he called women to the front so I wish from the beginning it would have been first come first serve or general admission pit. so we didnât have to purchase seats and then people run in front of us.
