This was my first time at this venue, great place and the show was amazing!
Arena is awesome in Ontario. Sugar ray was amazing. Fastball really exceeded my expectations. Tonic was great as well. Gun blossoms were okay.
The venue is great. Thankful for the large screens! First two acts were decent. Sugar Ray has lots of energy but sang off key sometimes. Gin Blossoms were good but lacked stage presence.
I don't know if this is always a problem but in Cedar Rapids the Gin Blossoms played so loud (esp bass and drums) that one couldn't enjoy it; even w/ earplugs! The audience slowly left the venue. Sugar Ray had played just prior and the crowd was very up and happy. Fastball opened as the crowd was arriving and I thought they were great although don't know why they played a cover of Steve Miller; just for fun I guess. Gin Blossoms amps/speaker cut out several time which did not happen with the other bands. Seems they were pushing the volume too high and it was bad for the equipment and the audience. I think the talent may still be there but the sound management will need to improve or audiences will keep walking out.
All four bands were incredible but the Gin Blossoms never disappoint It was a great night for the 90s throw back with Sugar Ray ❤️
Man, what a bummer. Tonic and Sugar Ray were great. Gin B came out and sounded like they were overly proud of themselves and cocky. Band sounded amazing, vocals didn't. All audio cut out 4 times during the show. Really a let down. But the venue was amazing and I am actively looking for a way to get back there.
They were okay. The last of four bands to perform and they didn’t seem excited to be in CR. Was nice to see them in concert, but expected a little more from a band.
This concert was amazing. So glad we did the VIP experience beforehand and got to hear the Gin Blossoms warm up. They played all of their hits and sounded fantastic. Robin’s voice is so genuine and somehow after 30 years of singing some of the same songs, he sounds just as heartfelt. Jesse, Scotty, Bill, and Scott did an amazing job and even with the few sound glitches, never lost a beat. The other bands were great, too, but I wish it would have just been a band with a quick opening set and GB could have played “Just South of Nowhere,” “Mrs. Rita,” and “Pieces of the Night” too. What a lovely, wonderful, professional band. They’ll always be my favorite and so glad we went. 🖤
This show exceeded my expectations at every level. Each artist performed wonderfully, and authentically connected with the audience. I felt appreciated by them as much as I appreciated my 90s throwback night. Although the Gin Blossoms were the reason I bought tickets, I really enjoyed Sugar Ray’s energy, humor, and authenticity. The venue was lovely and it was a perfect evening for the show. The seated area was easy to navigate. I did feel bad for the artists dealing with some of the insects that come with riverside venues and were attracted to the lights. The ticketing process, entrance, and parking were all very easy.
Had an amazing time! Was a great show with 4 great bands! Truly enjoyed the intimate outdoor venue in Cedar Rapids Iowa.
The Gin Blossoms were great. I love the venue at Wild Horse Pass.
Being a native Tempe guy and a Yucca Tap Room regular for 35 years have always loved the Gin Blossoms. Loved the show Saturday night and the band was as tight as I have ever seen them. Stay together guys and see you next time!
Had a wonderful time at Wild Horse Pass, AGAIN! The Gin Blossoms did a great show. Drinks were cold, on the balcony, the show up there was perfect. Go see any band here you can.
Gin Blossom's are not my favorite band but definitely my favorite live band. they sound great and they are genuinely enjoying preforming. I try to go to their shows every chance i get. first time at wild horse pass. great venue.
I loved the show, the Gin Blossoms were great. The size of this venue is nice and there isn't a bad seat in the house. I didn't enjoy folding chairs, though. The sound was a deal breaker for me. This needs an upgrade, the sound is bad and I won't be going back to Wild Horse Pass Theater until they put some money into the sound.
Awesome show! Sounded great and didn’t disappoint in any way. Even had the opportunity to hang out with their guitarist Scott Johnson before the show. Great Guy!!!
From the free parking at the venue to the on time start to the show to the intimacy of the venue to the energy of the band - this was a great show and an awesome night!
Great Show at Wildhorse Pass on Saturday Night. Intimate venue, rich sound, great band full of positivity and nostalgic hits.
There is nothing better that seeing a show where the stage is simple — the band and equipment! Not all the bells and whistles like others. It’s pure talent! The Gun Blossom are just that____pure talent!!
