  • They're good as new

by swilson on 1/17/24The Event at Graton Resort & Casino - Rohnert ParkRating: 4 out of 5

The only thing I would have changed is the live monitor programming. All they did was continually provide closeups of the band (good for guitar solos). What would have made it interesting would have been to intersperse flashback videos and pictures of performances from the 90's and 00's on those screens. Many fans like me did not discover the Blossoms until lately and it is super cool to see them perform in their youth.

  • Great show!

by Lgoaliefan on 1/15/24The Event at Graton Resort & Casino - Rohnert ParkRating: 5 out of 5

They sound as good now as they did back in the 90s. The crowd and band were into it. So many great songs!!!!!!

  • Not to bad...

by Sabatino on 1/15/24The Event at Graton Resort & Casino - Rohnert ParkRating: 4 out of 5

First time at the casino. Wasn't aware there were just seats and no floor room, but the seats were comfortable. Gin Blossoms were great. Good sound and acoustics. Free Parking, which compared to these other places was a blessing in disguise. Other than that, all positive vibes

  • Not the best

by Ultrarunnermike on 1/15/24The Event at Graton Resort & Casino - Rohnert ParkRating: 3 out of 5

The hits (four) were good, but not great. The rest was just filler. The venue (Graton Casino) was great.

The band was excellent, seating good. Plenty of room to walk in front of seating

Had a great time at the Gin Blossoms concert. Love the Graton venue since it’s super close. Makes an easy date night!

  • Reliving my high school

by MM on 10/22/23The Wellmont Theater - MontclairRating: 5 out of 5

The first CD I ever got was the Gin Blossoms, New Miserable Experience. I have loved the band ever since then. I had wanted to see them last year for the anniversary tour of said album but was unable to. I was so excited when they announced this tour with Tonic and Fastball.

  • mixed bag

by Rob on 9/18/23The Wellmont Theater - MontclairRating: 3 out of 5

The night was a mixed bag. The Wellmont Theater is tight, so I spent the evening squished in my seat with two large men on each side of me with almost no leg room. But the theater was packed, so they sold a lot of tickets. The opening acts of Fastball and Tonic were good, I only knew their hits, but they played all their songs well and they both sounded good. However, the Gin Blossoms suffered from a bad mix. I don't know if their lead singer has his vocals turned down because he doesn't sing well anymore, or was having an off night, or the engineers weren't doing a good job, but I could barely hear his vocals. Also, one guitar player was much louder than the other. The weird mix led to a very mushy kind of sound. Unfortunately, the crowd at the show was completely dead, typical of audiences nowadays. Almost everyone was on their phones, on setlist.fm to see how many more songs until they could leave, or on Facebook, Instagram, work emails, or texting (and no, I wasn't spying on people, thy were holding their phones up in my line of vision, it was hard to miss). But of course, there was plenty of chatter, as loud conversations were happening all around me as the band they paid to see was performing. There was hardly any applause of cheering, almost no dancing or getting into the songs. The crowd was so lifeless that I felt bad for the band. After the Gin Blossoms performed their biggest hit "Hey Jealously"the crowd scrambled for the exits, despite the fact that the band had 2 more songs to go. At the end the place which had been packed was about half empty. So a poor mix and a bad crowd tainted the evening, but the bands were good overall.

  • Wonderful concert

by LizB on 9/17/23Chevalier Theatre - MedfordRating: 5 out of 5

Wonderful concert… Amazing lineup… Each of the four brands brought energy to the venue! It was so great to see, and feel that they still love what they do💕

  • Gin blossoms VIP sound check experience

    by Terasaur7 on 9/17/23Chevalier Theatre - MedfordRating: 3 out of 5

We did the VIP soundcheck with band. I read a few negative experiences on this topic but didn’t want to believe them and made the purchase. The soundcheck consisted of working through a couple of songs and MAYBE five minutes with just robin where a couple of questions were asked and he was gone ! As was stated in the reviews I mention above… not worth the cost . And just my opinion someone is a little conceded

  • Good performance!

by LBD on 9/17/23The Wellmont Theater - MontclairRating: 4 out of 5

Such a fun night! Gin Blossoms sound and look great. I definitely would see them again. The venue is beautiful but I find it’s always too loud.

  • Absolutely epic, great time had by all.

by DJayDirtyJersey on 9/16/23The Wellmont Theater - MontclairRating: 5 out of 5

Great venue all around. Quaint & cozy for a concert setting. Doors opened & the ppl involved were prompt. Beer prices could have been a tad less expensive as PBR is 50 cents in Coney Island right now & I paid 22X’s that much! I get it, you’re trying to make $, but a Brix City brew was a dollar more when that should have been $23.75 a pint if you do the math. All around great experience, would definitely attend another concert here if it were feasible.
