Great show!! Band sounds like 30 years ago and the place was perfect not to big and not to small.
Music and band were bvery good and what I expected. Only issue is the sound. The sound was really not that good. When they spoke it was hard to understand and the music itself was fuzzy. Just not very good speakers or acoustics.
I'm 50-something and remember the Gin Blossoms from the 1990s, but only in a general sense, I maybe recalled a song or two. So when my wife asked if we could go see them I was skeptical about how much I would enjoy it. I enjoyed it plenty. The band was energetic, high octane, and once they started playing I recalled several more songs that I had forgotten about over the years. And, this was a full-fledged concert, they played their 1992 "NME" album in its entirety, plus some other tunes before and after. We were dancing and singing along most of the night. Well worth it, a very fun experience for us!
The sound quality was incredible. The band interacted with the audience and really enhanced the experience.
This was at least the 6th time we've seen them and we've been fans ever since their "Miserable Experience" album. They bring lots of energy and replicate their biggest hits perfectly every time. We look forward to seeing them next time they're in our area.
My second time to see them, and will likely see them again. They sound great .. Love their songs and style of music. Such a fun vibe/energy. Everyone in the crowd interacting.. enjoying the show, and each other. Good venue. All around great fun!
The group still sounds great. Great music! Glad I got to see them. Standard venue lights/backdrop
The band came out and basically played all of their hits in a 75 minute show. Started at 8, they walked off at 9 and came back and did 2 songs to wrap up the night! It was great!!
Sound wasn’t that great, wasn’t impressed by the performance
The Gin Blossoms really played their best for the audience at the House of Blues in Orlando and the crowd really appreciated it. It was a very good show. Loved it.
Staff was polite and professional. Never really felt like we were being "herded". Not knowing about silver creek, I assumed it was a dedicated concert venue, but the temporary chairs were fine (seat numbers clipped to the top of the seat)
Just canceled the San Antonio show at the last minute. Was so looking forward to it. Hope the band is alright and I’ll be sure to catch them next time around. 😭
We really enjoyed the concert. It was everything you would expect from the Gin Blossoms and more. Thanks for a wonderful performance at Four Winds Casino! Sorry to hear about Bill, may he have a speedy recovery. Thanks again!
The band was great and the venue setup and people running the event were fantastic. My only complaint is that the sound, as has been the case with every show I have seen at this venue, was not very good. We could hear the singer, but could not make out what he was singing and most of the guitar riffs were completely washed out.
Show was great. Disappointed I missed the photo for vip cause of work. That's my own fault
Great show with Gin Blossoms. Very organized venue. Happy it was a smaller venue so I could enjoy the band. They sound incredible still. I have seen them often but each time brings back memories and good vibes. If you haven't seen them, you are missing out if you have enjoyed their music.
Apparently sound people don’t know how to set up now days. The bass was way to high making lyrics hard to understand. When the floor vibrates and your jeans at your ankles vibrates i would say it’s a bit too much.
Still sounding great and enjoying themselves after all these years. NME is a great album, well worth celebrating.
Gin Blossoms delivered, as they always do. Sound hasn't changed in 30 years and New Miserable Experience in its entirety can't be beat! This is actually the second time we saw the Blossoms at Mercury Ballroom. One of our favorite small and intimate venues with good acoustics and up close to the band. Will catch the Blossoms whenever they are in the area!
Amazing concert and never seen them before which they put on a great show. I would see them again if they are near by and staff was helpful and respectful
