The comics didn't get a chance to really get in rhythm with the crowd. Some of them started to get there but then their set was over. I feel like 3-4 for the same time frame would have been a little bit better. Was fun nonetheless but could have been better
Everything about this event was magical. From entering the beautiful venue to the experience given by the volunteers to the incredible show. It was well planned and a blast. Will definitely attend a show in the future!
Overpriced tickets from this show but luckily it was for a great cause.
Irene Tu was not funny in any shape or form in the name of clean comedy. I did not need to hear her talk about her sexuality and talking about pronouns (he/she.) She started her routine with telling a lady in the audience that she would like to get nasty with her. Not clean comedy. The other couple we came with felt the same. The other comedians were average and seems like they struggled to get the entire crown feeling it. It was so much better when we came several years ago.

Fortune made me laugh so hard I was crying! I couldn't have asked for a better show! I will definitely see her again if she comes back to GR.
My friend and I enjoyed Laughfest. The tickets were priced well and the talent was worth every penny. The Listening Room was the best venue in my opinion, as there wasn't a bad seat in the place. The church venue was too large but still good. I prefer the smaller venues.
It was our first time attending an event at The Listening Room. The venue itself is nice and new. There were however two issues we came across at our visit. One was there is a bar in the back that they said we could utilize but every time we got in line, they refused to serve anyone and said they’d attend to you at your seats. This wasn’t a huge issue but when there are only two servers, it took a long time to get drinks/snacks. The second issue was there are no security guards in the venue. At our event, a fight broke out in the middle of the show. The act had to ask people to leave but it should have been handled by an employee of the venue. Eventually a security guard came from the movie theater to help but the issue had already been resolved. Overall the experience could have been better if they make those small improvements.
Clean Comedy Showcase and Maria Bamford were a balm as we come out of covid!
I loved the show at Fountain St. Church. Fortune Feimster was the best!
After leaving this event our party of 10 agreed we hadn’t laughed that much since the last time we went to the Clean Comedy Showcase two years prior.
This show was really awesome. Charlie Berens is a great entertainer. His comedy, drawn from real midwest life experiences, was hilarious. I loved that his performance was clean yet still very funny and entertaining. The venue was good. Volunteers checking vaccine cards and scanning tickets were very pleasant and quick. :)
Great show. Easy ticket access with the app. Only bad thing was the venue had no beverages. I get no alcohol but at least water. It was very warm in the venue.
First off, if you have an opportunity to see Fortune Feimster - Do It! Fountain Street Church is a beautiful venue that doesn't have a bad seat in the house! And the Gilda Laughfest staff, ran an amazing program - the ease of entering the venue, getting to your seats, sale of merch... All great!
Showed up at the Fountain Street church for Fortune Feimster and every person working the event was awesome .!!! What a great event after 2 years of pandemic hiatus .!!!
Great show! Always a great time with a lot of laughs for a great cause.
I haven’t laughed this hard in awhile. Fortune was hilarious and totally worth the wait. And her opener was one of the best opening acts I’ve seen! Go see this show!!!
One of the best nights I've had ....I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Fountain Street Church is perfect for a show.
We went to the clean Comedy Showcase and Maria Bamford. Both were so funny and a balm for reentering life after the worst of covid.
So great! Venue was gorgeous where every seat was a good seat. The comics were amazing and interacted with the audience. Only suggestions are to be able to purchase water, and lower the volume on the music. Definitely will attend again!
