Tchaikovsky's Fourth

Though it has been a while since I have had occasion to see and hear Michael Tilson Thomas conduct, he performed magnanimously! Tchaikovsky's Fourth was well done but the best segment of the evening was the Sibelius violin concerto played so beautifully by soloist, Gil Shaham. I found myself thinking that I wished there was something I could do as well as Mr. Shaham can play the violin! The only down sides of the evening were some inconveniences with bus transportation.
