GET THE LED OUT IN CONCERT:

Led Zeppelin's days of reunion touring may be over, but Get the Led Out's Zeppelin tribute show hits all the right notes for fans looking to reminisce over the iconic band's heyday. Handpicked by Jimmy Page himself to perform at one of his charity's fundraising events, Get the Led Out have the band's sound down to a tee, thrilling fans around the country with marathon sets of Zeppelin hits like "Whole Lotta Love" and "Stairway to Heaven." Fresh off a series of acclaimed 2013 shows, the band is sure to impress even the staunchest Zeppelin purists on their 2014 tour.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Get the Led Out formed out of a desire to acknowledge the influence the music of Led Zeppelin has had on all of the band's members. Eschewing the tribute band trend of visual mimicry, Get the Led Out instead focus on entirely recreating the great band's legendary sound, including extensive gear nerdery and use of period instruments like the theremin. Singer Paul Sinclair sounds remarkably like Robert Plant, and guitarist Paul Hammond does a mean Jimmy Page  — add the rest of the band and you've got an uncanny sonic resemblance that achieves the difficult task of passing muster with Zeppelin purists.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"The next best thing to seeing Led Zeppelin live - loved every minute of it and will definitely see them again."

"Just absolutely fantastic. They did play a lot of lesser known songs of Led Zep but played all the hits as well. The recreation of studio version of" Whole Lotta Love" using theremin was, in a word, fantastic."

"If you are a Led Zeppelin Fan, or just enjoy watching spectacular musicians perform some classic rock at its finest... You will never regret seeing this band . Always an incredible show."

    Spot-On

by ABCat on 12/13/10The Electric Factory - Philadelphia

These guys truly respected Zeppelin. They rocked, and every song sounded perfect. I also thought the Electric Factory was a fun place to get loose. Still pretty warm -- even in December -- so layer so you can take it off. And $20 to park was crazy, $10.50 beers crazy, but all in all, such a fun time, totally worth it, and I'm going again. And even though the venue was expensive, the concert ticket -- at $22.50 -- was a BARGAIN considering the show the band put on. Can't say enough good things about Get the Led Out!

    GTLO Rocks

by CAD4U on 12/13/10The Electric Factory - Philadelphia

Never seeing a LED Zeppelin show in my youth is one of m y biggest disappointments of my youth. After seeing my 2nd GTLO at the Electric Factory on Saturday December 11th. I feel like I have. This show definitely ranks in the amazing category as all the song had the look feel and sound of the LED Zeppelin we all remember on the Radio in the late sixties early seventies. These guys just keep getting better. I will definitely be going to another.

    Awesome groove sesh!

by Loveleelilee on 12/13/10The Electric Factory - Philadelphia

If you're a Led Zeppelin fan, these guys are probably the best cover band to get your fix. Musicality is great. They are a genuine awesome band. Not cheesy at all! Even though it takes more of them to get the same sound, its still awesome! Philly locals. Great performance! Saw them at the House of Blues in AC and The electric factory (general admission). Both great venues to see them at!

    Spectacular Performance

by GlennBatt on 12/13/10The Electric Factory - Philadelphia

This was the first time I had seen GTLO. The show was absolutely amazing. They hit every note of every song with both instruments and voice. You could have closed your eyes and been at an original concert 25 years ago; it was that great. It's been three days since the show and I am still reeling with post-show excitement. Thank you for a most memorable night GTHO!

    Rock the House

by gman7117 on 12/2/10Best Buy Theater - New York

This is my second time seeing the band and they were just as great if not better than the first time I saw them in AC this past summer. I don't recall seeing more enjoyable shows in recent memory. Zepplin fan or not, this show is a must see. Amazing talent (6)that brings it all together to create the sound. The opening song was Achilles Last Stand and it was performed as the masterpiece that it is. The lead singer has an unbelievably powerful voice and great stage presence that brings it all together.

    Get The Led Out...Incredible!

by ZeppelinFan51 on 11/29/10Best Buy Theater - New York

I'v seen a lot of Led Zep Tribute Bands and many were really good but these guys are just on a different level. Great song list and lots of energy from both the band and the audience. I went with 6 friends and everyone had an absolute blast! You just gotta see them preferably in NYC...

    a must for Zep fans.

by grog22 on 11/29/10Best Buy Theater - New York

Ive been listening to Zeppelin religiously since for 25 years. I have never seen any band recreate the music so perfectly and with such passion. These guys clearly love the music, they are not doing this for the money or as an act. Really fun to watch and probably the closest you are ever going to get.

    Awsome!

by VDUBYA on 11/17/10Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro

Get The Led Out really did capture the essence of Led Zeppelin. The music sounded really good and if you close your eyes, you would have thought you were listening to Plant and Page. Although the crowd was small, everyone appeared to have had a great time. I would definately see their show again! The only reason why I didnt give them 5 stars was because I could have listenend to them for a couple more hours and I wish they would have played two of my favorites, D'yer Mak'er and Tangerine. Dont expect any lavish set up. All you get is the band, a smoke machine, and some fancy lighting....Plenty!

    They Nail It!

by HugeCCRFan on 11/17/10Palace Theater - Greensburg

Get the Led Out captures the sound of Led Zeppelin extremely well. They obviously put a lot of time and effort into performing the songs as close to the studio versions of the Led Zeppelin classics as they can and they really nail it. A number of times I closed my eyes and just listened, it was truly remarkable. If you are a Led Zeppelin fan attending a Get the Led Out concert is an absolute must! You are simply not going to find anything closer to Led Zeppelin live than this unless the original band reunites, not very likely. Very well done and very enjoyable.

GTLO - Note for Note - impeccable

by Doug1969 on 11/15/10Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro

Close your eyes and you would have thought you were listening to the record itself. Uncanny and bravo to the boys in the band for pulling this incredible feat off! Wow. I doubt the original members could have duplicated in todays time?

Get the Led Out was outstanding!

by beemer850 on 11/15/10Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro

Most tribute bands can play the music, but this band was unbelievable. The real key to this band, however, is the lead singer. I saw Led Zeppelin in their prime, and Robert Plant was never as good in concert as the recordings were. The lead in this band was almost too good to be true. He was better than Robert Plant - Listening to him was like hearing the studio recordings except LIVE! I've been a working musician all my life, and I hate concerts that fall short of expectations. Trust me, this was as good as it gets!

    GREAT

by WildTongue on 11/15/10Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro

I first saw Led Zeppelin on April 7, 1970 in Charlotte NC. I was 17. It was a great show. This band, The American Led Zeppelin has put together a great gig. They sound great and if you never saw Led Zeppelin then this show is fantastic, GO SEE IT. They are quite a tight band. Thanks for a great night!!

So realistic it was almost spooky!

by flux on 11/15/10Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro

The set list was as if they'd asked me to pick it for them. The lead vocalist sounded exactly like Robert Plant. Their goal is to recreate the songs as close as possible to the way they sound on the original albuns, and they are highly skilled in this regard. They had a total of 6 musicians so they were able to play all the parts that were overdubbed on the albums. They even brought out a femal vocalist for The Battle Of Evermore. It was incredible. Exceeded my wildest expectations.

by Zoo2keepr on 11/15/10Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro

I was a little leery of seing a "tribute" band, but I was blown away. The talent in the group was unbelievable. I would definetly recommend this to any Led Zeppelin fan. The drum solo was fantastic!
