GET THE LED OUT IN CONCERT:

Led Zeppelin's days of reunion touring may be over, but Get the Led Out's Zeppelin tribute show hits all the right notes for fans looking to reminisce over the iconic band's heyday. Handpicked by Jimmy Page himself to perform at one of his charity's fundraising events, Get the Led Out have the band's sound down to a tee, thrilling fans around the country with marathon sets of Zeppelin hits like "Whole Lotta Love" and "Stairway to Heaven." Fresh off a series of acclaimed 2013 shows, the band is sure to impress even the staunchest Zeppelin purists on their 2014 tour.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Get the Led Out formed out of a desire to acknowledge the influence the music of Led Zeppelin has had on all of the band's members. Eschewing the tribute band trend of visual mimicry, Get the Led Out instead focus on entirely recreating the great band's legendary sound, including extensive gear nerdery and use of period instruments like the theremin. Singer Paul Sinclair sounds remarkably like Robert Plant, and guitarist Paul Hammond does a mean Jimmy Page  — add the rest of the band and you've got an uncanny sonic resemblance that achieves the difficult task of passing muster with Zeppelin purists.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"The next best thing to seeing Led Zeppelin live - loved every minute of it and will definitely see them again."

"Just absolutely fantastic. They did play a lot of lesser known songs of Led Zep but played all the hits as well. The recreation of studio version of" Whole Lotta Love" using theremin was, in a word, fantastic."

"If you are a Led Zeppelin Fan, or just enjoy watching spectacular musicians perform some classic rock at its finest... You will never regret seeing this band . Always an incredible show."

Get The Led out is a great band

by MindyJo on 12/31/11Whitaker Center - Harrisburg

They sound so much like the original Led Zep band I thought I was back in the 70's again! The lead singer is excellent and has a good rapport with the audience! The audience was a fun and friendly crowd mostly in their 50's with some teens probably with parents. Would highly recommend seeing their show!

My dad and I went and saw GTLO and they were amazing. My dad seen Led Zeppelin and he said when he closed his eyes, he thought he was at a LZ concert. They do a great job of recreating a LZ experience.

Get the Led out is the 2nd Led Zeppelin coming!

by dwfoudy on 12/11/11The Electric Factory - Philadelphia

This band never lets me down....everytime I see them (10 show in 12 months) they change their song list everytime as they know over 80 songs! Every member of the band are true musicians and know how to play!!! They play for 2 and half hours of solid zeppelin songs as if you heard them off vinyl! They make it known, they are not trying to act like Plant and Page in looks or body language! They just know how to recreate the same songs by using 7 musicians and singers to make the songs sound like magic! If you are anyway a Zep Fan, don't miss an opportunity to see a professional band who has been nicknamed "The American Led Zeppelin" Check them out on Facebook.

Never got to see LED ZEPPELIN?? GET THE LED OUT!!!

by IndoFanatic on 12/11/11The Electric Factory - Philadelphia

Let me tell you this..I went to this concert with a degree of cautious apprehension as would anybody seeing this tribute band for the first time. For me the litmus test was the song "No Quarter"....I thought, "For sure, they are not gonna be able to play that lead guitar the way it was played in that song..The guitar in that song sounds like an electric cable burping little sparks continuously over the length of the wire!! NO WAY are these guys gonna be able to replicate THAT!"....Surprise, Surprise!!! They PASSED my litmus test !!! All guitarists played magnificently and the particular guitar I am speaking about was played by guitarist Paul Hammond (he said he is Welsh) and he played it almost ...perfect to a fault!!! And thats what I would call this band....Paul Sinclair's voice was a great tribute to Robert Plant's...and the other band members played their parts really well!!!

Get The Led Out rocked the Electric Factory!

by BlakeO on 12/10/11The Electric Factory - Philadelphia

After seeing the Get the Led Out concert at the Electric Factory in June I was looking forward to going again. As usual the band came through with a completely different setlist, and even pulled off the classic "In my time of dying" which I've never seen any band do as exactly and with as much vibe as GTLO did last night! The place was packed, and everyone there was really digging the show, and the band was totally feeding off the crowd. The current line up of this band is the best it's ever been - six real deal musicians concentrating on performing the best music of all time - and of course the woman who sings on the "Battle of Evermore" was amazing as usual. I highly recommend this concert to not only Zep fans, but fans of rock music everywhere.

Get The Led Out was more than what I expected!!!

by MeShelly on 11/21/11Stiefel Theatre - Salina

When first hearing about the concert I researched GTLO on Youtube. I'm glad I decided to check them out for myself! The videos I ran across prior did not do the group justice. I have been a life long Led Zep fan and to ever refer to GTLO as a "cover band" would be so wrong. They are much more than that. There is such a functional way they perform.. right on cue!.. There were moments that I could have swore I was listening to the original 4 . If ever they decide to come back again, I will be there! Absolutely LOVED the experience!!! Totally rocked the house!!!!
